@Ascent I was completely blown away by the many stories you guys told on this topic. I sometimes feel hard done by living here, this little wet rock with all it's little sectarian troubles, but the reasons you guys gave on why you wanted to move really made me feel very small and humble.

Your story in particular made me go hug my daughter and give thanks for this little wet rock. Thank you.

ITAs are auto generated by the CIC system. Hence the ITA will only go to those profiles whose scores are equal to or higher then the drawn number. Any profiles with scores lower than the drawn number can not get an ITA

Wow 23 and following his dream! Don't you dare give up on it or I'll hunt you down. When I was 23 I had an offer to do an MBA in Waterloo, Ontario. Instead I decided against it and did one in Belfast instead. Worst move of my entire life. Know who's where I would be now if I had done the MBA in Canada. Oh wait, yes I know where I would be.

Not even close, shaun. I turn 55 in August. But my grandma was doing well at 100, so I'm only half way, lol.

I missed this very interesting discussion about reasons for immigrating to Canada and am catching up. But wow @tjsecondtry, you are my hero! I have been feeling bad about being 41 and losing so many points because of age, in addition to wondering how 20+ years slipped by because I still feel 20... it's really nice to see I'm not the only one who is up there in the years!

What can i do in this case??

Get a letter from an ex supervisor stating ur designation,duties & responsibilities,hours worked per week ,term of employment etc...get it notarised by an attorney ...collect ur ex bosses business card & company ID card copy ...shall everything along with the reference letter,explain in an LoE that company refused to mention / issue fresh one as it is against the policy...also attach any email response from company hr substantiate ur claim
