Hi there and welcome! Yes, most of us are feeling very anxious. If your application was received today by CIC in Mississauga, then you are a July applicant, if not then you'd be an August one. But, you can see, it's just a matter of a few days, so you can still get a lot of info from this thread

it wont have been received yet as we just posted it this morning (July 31)...hoping theyll get it by end of week. ill stick around until the August thread opens up then.

I've seen about 5 people or more are on the same boat as you, me included. I swear it too, we didn't see an update there. We couldn't communicate with IRCC today but we'll try tomorrow early in the morning at 8 am when they're not as busy and we can actually speak to an agent. As soon as I know something from it, I'll come here and let you know. I'm sorry to say it, but if you got it sent the first week of July, we will all know if they're returning applications because of this, which I utterly hope is not the case for the sake of all of us. Good luck

Count me in on this one. They announced the new checklist but nothing about these forms being updated. And I think these forms were updated in the past week because I'm confident I checked the dates, not sure why its listed as June 2017.

I did call CIC and they said that if the immigration officer processing your file has problem with this, they'll most likely ask you to replace them or worst case scenario return the application. She advised that its best to wait for them to respond to you.

thats the address they specifiy for couriers, its the address we used even though we didnt use a courier,.
we used the standard postal service as they had an option specific for important documents requiring a signature... only thing is it will take 4-6 days.
anyone else not use a courier?

Omg guys, i just checked cic and saw the sponsor app and generic app are 06-2017!?!? I swear i double checked ours too when we sent out ours first week of july and the forms dates weren't june 2017
Only attached the june 2017 checklist because that was the only latest one updated that time...
How to remedy this

I had downloaded application forms on June 26th. CIC website was showing forms updated on June 16th.

I submitted my application June 28th and it was received June 30th. Before submission, I checked all the forms and it was only the checklist that was updated, however, I submitted the old one since they gave us the option to use the old one as long as the application will be received before July 15th. All the other documents were not updated at that time. This update is pretty much recent and it shouldn't affect any of the applicants who used the old forms. They are not gonna return your applications because they simply updated the forms after your packages have been received. Let's hope for the best and wait for our AORs.

it depends on case to case i guess, lot of feb and march applicants got DM today. i was march applicant (application received by mississauga office on 21st march 2017). i got DM today.
