Experts I need your help please!

I just came across an article in CIC news about Saskatchewan nominee program:

https://www.cicnews.com/2017/07/saskatchewan-express-entry-sub-category-reopens-with-expanded-occupations-list-079413.html

As I read through this article, I found out that they're expanding their in-demand occupation list and they've included "Chemical Technologist" with NOC 2211.

My current NOC in my express entry profile is "2145" which is a petroleum engineer; in fact, I'm not a petroleum engineer but my profession "MUD Engineer" falls under petroleum engineering field and I even found my profession within the announced professions of the NOC 2145; I hold a Bsc degree in Chemical Engineering.

My question is, can I change my NOC to 2211 claiming that my work duties and responsibilities also fall under the "Chemical Technologist" which it belongs to NOC 2211?

Also, are there any risks involved when changing the NOC knowing that my NOC stated with 2145 NOC's professions?

P.S. Chemical Engineer is also stated within NOC 2211 occupation list.

I have indeed read the duties of professions belong to 2211 NOC and I also found them quite similar to my actual profession which is " MUD Engineer".

I hope you guys reassure me before I go ahead and change my noc so as to apply for Saskatchewan nominee program.

That is a pb with WES Software. They by default add IRCC and we cannot remove.

You Pay 75.71 and Ask them for a refund of 33.81 by using their 'Contact Us' form
Thanks, I am sorry, I could not understand. Do I have to take the delete option for IRCC or proceed further keeping it also as a recipient. I shall highly appreciate if you could elaborate it further. Also if this DELETE option was earlier there when you made the payment or it has been inserted recently.

They add IRCC as recipient automatically. You CANNOT remove them from the list of recipients. So what you do is ask them for a refund stating that you only meant to send the report to OINP

I just downloaded duolingo, and did the assessment. It said that I am 48% fluent in fluent. Wondering how tough the French test TEF is.

Does anyone here have any experience? If I were to become 100% fluent in duolingo, would that make good enough to take the test and get a decent score?
No. Duolingo is not a reliable yardstick for TEF. The only thing you can become good with duolingo is the reading section. TEF is tougher than IELTS. And I am not saying that because French is a foreign language. The overall difficulty of TEF is considerably higher than IELTS. I recently took TEF and I got 8 points (max. 24 points).

Hello!

Great to connect with this beautiful community here who is as excited as I am about moving to Canada.

To give you all a brief overview:

1. I am at a CRS of 416 and I entered the pool on the 23rd of June, 2017. My NOC is 1123 an I got a NOI from Ontario on the same day.

2. Collected my documents for OINP since I am short on time and need to immigrate as soon as possible and was fortunate enough to submit my application on the 22nd of July, 2017.

3. The status of my OINP application changed to 'assessment' on the 26th of July and is still the same.

I'm hoping that there's a draw on the 2nd of August, with the new date based profile ranking system in place and hopefully 3800+ ITAs to make up for the wide gap after the last draw. Can't wait for the CRS to be in the lower 400s and for OINP and other PNPs to start accepting applicants again.

All the best everyone!

But sir there is a button EDIT/DELETE just on the side where IRCC authorization is to remove the IRCC as recipient. What is it?

Maybe they have added it now. I never saw this when I applied. I noticed WES website has been redesigned again. :)

Go ahead and delete it as you have already sent your report to IRCC before.

Hope that helps

EDIT: I logged in and checked the website. Go ahead and delete IRCC. :)
