Nomination.....

Passport Req..

I understand.. but that solely depends on candidate as well.. because one will get Nomination approval request in EE profile.. & one has some 30/60 days to accept it.. so when one accepts that is also a question (and I am sure most would accept it immediately).. plus there might be cases where one gets nomination but in meantime also receives ITA directly..so he relinquishes his nomination.. although this number would be very very very small.. just some logical deductions..

Yes but i agree to your point.. how many have accepted nomination out of approved ones is a good indicator as well..

Wait wait wait, don't confuse nomination with notification of interest. After you create your EE profile, if your data matches ontario's demands you will receive an interest request not a nomination.;) Only after you choose to create your one-key profile and submitted then you can evidently confirm that you have "accepted" their request. Even if you created your profile and haven't submitted doesn't really indicate that you have accepted their request, that is why you have a 14 day limit to submit. Then and only then after you have submitted and your profile has been evaluated through the stages: Submitted, Assessment, Decision in Progress, Submission of Additional Documents Request (varies), Approval/Refused. Once you received an approval, your EE profile will show that you can accept or reject the provinces nomination. This is the only time, evidently that you have been nominated by the province. When you accept (by clicking accept in your EE profile), then your score will show a 600 addition (within 24 hours or earlier).

But ultimately, it is a personal choice to make, yes, it can happen that when you accept an interest request and create your profile, a draw occurs. But I'll say that if you spent your 1500$, you must have either been reviewing the trends, this thread, and applied the risk/rewards too. In my case, I followed through with OINP because my indicators were the last two draws. But at the end of the day, you have to be willing to utilize every legal option available.

no no confusion at all..your first paragraph best describes my scenario...

I was more stressing on this point 'yes, it can happen that when you accept an interest request and create your profile, a draw occurs'.. remember 1-2 months back.. 3 draws happened.. back to back 3 weeks.. i was considering that situation wherein one might get Nomination Accept/Decline in EE profile & ITA on a same day.. so which brings another thought.. because your OINP application is approved by OINP but one doesn't accept it in EE profile.. will OINP still count it as a part of HCP quota or not..? again this is so small number that such chances are very very low..

Hi Guys

I am having work experience in regulated NOC 2133 ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS, do i need to obtain any proof of license before applying to OINP? I dont have any license as of now and it seems very difficult as well to get it from Canada.

I read at some other threads that the requirement is just for those who are already working in Canada.

Please help

Dear good guyz, I am really worried about the outcome of my PR application. As I recently got nomination from OINP and found that, I made a mistake in Education History. I erroneously answered Yes to "Have you awarded a Canadian Degree?", however in supporting document I submitted ECA copy, still OINP did not raise any alarm and gave me nomination despite of this mistake. Now, some of in my country is saying that, I might face refusal due to this, because of information difference in OINP application and Express entry profile. Would anyone please help me? I know, I have made several posts regarding this.

So sorry about thus situation. I will share my thoughts with you.
First, what will ur score be without oinp nominations?
Secondly, have u submitted the PR application
I really do not know ow u were able to submit the EE profile because the system does allow u if u don't input a DLI number for canadian education.

No matter what, u will still need to own up and write to both parties involved.I hope it's resolved to ur favor.
Else they will definitely find out and might cancel all d application.

Is this really such a big worry, if OINP has nominated him, this means that they realized his mistake and assessed his application against the documents he uploaded rather than a mere yes and no, in the end its the documents section in your application section which would be the most critical thing when it comes to nominating a candidate, if that's not all, he can write an email to them explaining the situation and they would definitely consider it in a positive way before revoking anything

You should modify your Express Entry profile if you have mentioned that you studied in Canada. That should be fine as you are nominated already.

I think you should leave it as is.

All the best

If you have license already, you can mention in your application. It may add value. But It is not mandatory to obtain before applying OINP. PEO needs our presence at some stages of its process.

Hi guys,
I made payment for OINP yesterday using my visa debit card. The payment is pending in my bank account and my OINP profile shows submitted. Also got an email saying application received.
My deadline is coming Monday.
My fear is if OINP declines the payment coz it's debit card and my application would come under not submitted. My deadline would pass too.

I can't make another payment as profile shows submitted.
What should I do. Will the payment be OK or should I be concerned.

Wouldn't this be a pending approval of your bank rather than pending OINP?
