Helo all

Was checking on net and landed in this forum , really nice to see so many ppl in the same boat. Hopefully things will turn out good for all.

Just a small question. My CRS is 409. I resubmitted profile for Ontario on 7 July. Till date haven't heard anything from them on NOI. is it bcoz the next draw is scheduled for today or tomorrow??
BTW my NOC is 1225.
Any suggestions will be really appreciated.

Cheers and good luck to all for today draw.

This is one case where low cut off score is welcomed by all. ;);)
So you received a NOI and then registered on the Ontario site and submitted all required docs?

If so I've heard they average around a month now but I'd recommend sending them an email and asking for an update

Ooos! I'm soooo sorry but there is a pause in Ontario's HCP stream.:(
You should get direct ITA in the coming months.
Stay hopeful!!!:)

No dear. I was at 398 earlier. After I got spouse ECA, my score jumped to 409. So I became eligible for Ontario.
Then my lawyer resubmitted my profile on 7th.
Till date no response or signals on NOI.
Don't know wats happening really.

Ontario invitations depend on your NOC, but they've also stopped sending them out at the moment so you're stuck with us in the standard EE pool for now

Thanks Jaybee. I spoke to one consultant ystrday , though his point looked little irrelevant but still I will share with u all.
He said that bcoz the CRS cutoff is expected to fall again in future to a new low so Ontario is also preferring to pick candidates of higher CRS. Ie 440 or 430 etc.
n the lower CRS lot (like my case) will get absorbed in future draws automatically.

Whereas as far as my knowledge goes , its purely based on HCP.
So I raised query on this forum.

I'm a bit confused here, I thought the target was to get 300 000 new PR's in 2017 but you said the target it closer to 130 000?

What's the difference between an ITA and PR goal?
Just guessing from posts, but is it 130,000 target for PRs via EE, and 300,000 in total through all other means?
There is no "ITA goal". CIC target is the number of immigrants or those who successfully landed.

300,000 is the target for all categories including refugee, family class and the newly-created AIPP. For the economic class, most of the numbers will come from the EE pool, which includes FSW, CEC, FST, and PNP, with a total of 73,700 + 51,000. For PNP, take note that there are still paper based applications in some provinces.

I saw the AIPP only had a tiny amount at the moment.

I guess the majority here are going for FSW so that's the number need to monitor the most.

Not only FSW, although it is the majority, as I mentioned earlier, the EE pool consists of FSW, CEC, FST and PNP.

For AIPP, I don't think it has even started sending invites to candidates since it is also an employer-driven stream.

Friends, any pointers why and to wat level will CRS drop in future draws.

All I listen from consultants is that it will drop. But no one knows , on wat basis.

As far as i know they (IRCC) hv already crossed 2016 target of no of ITA issued and still there are 5 months to go. That makes me think that they will definitely become very choosy and keep CRS cut off high so that they get the best of all the applications in all further draws.
