hi

After asking for an update, i received this response today. Any suggestions to help us prepare for my husband's interview would be so much appreciated. Should I be going there too once we know when it is?

Email:

Madam,

Please consider that your application is in queue for interview. An exact schedule is not yet available.

No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Did you apply for GCMS notes that way you will.have an indication why an interview is required

I did last month but there were no indication then. The notes may have triggered it, that would my guess.

No i said that it may have triggered movement with the application. Why i said that.

Ok i thought the MP is best to wait after the 12 months
I will do that
Thanks
No, no. You can ask for MP's help anytime.
Some applicants have successfully waived their interview by knowing the exact reason why an interview is needed based on their MP's help or GCMS notes. Say for example, you did not provide enough evidences that would satisfy them that your marriage is genuine, then you can do this by sending in more pics/evidences voluntarily and addressing their concerns.

And go visit your MP to ask why an interview is needed.
.

Because it's part of the process. Anyone who doesn't go into this expecting an interview is fooling themselves. It's part of the process. Whether they ask for one or not is entirely up to IRCC.

We know its part of the process but not everyone i have seen had interviews

So ya knowing what their concerns are can definitely help. Why would it be a problem to know ahead and be prepared?
