Do we still need to pay some more fees at the time of stamping? I thought everything was already paid
Even if you dont opt for courier service, then also you have to pay some fees. VFS is running a business here...

INR 600 is the amount I guess. With courier it is 1000 INR.

You can convert this to your currency..

Hey guys... so silent observer here, but owe a lot to this forum for in depth knowledge. Esp @kiran and legalfalcon and many others who openly share their experience with us.

I'm living in the UAE, same AOR as @johnsyk.

My timeline is :
AOR: April 10
Meds passed: June 15
RPRF requested / paid : June 27/June 28. RPRF request letter said your eligibility, admissibility and security are under review.
Background status: it was NA from AOR April 10 until July 15. From July 15, it says, we are processing your background check.
Also on July 15: no additional docs needed ( previously it said we require additional docs, which was the famous system glitch )
Travel history: Thailand, Malaysia, turkey, Spain, Saudi Arabia

Big question : is this IP1 or IP2????

Thanks !
It means Anytime PPR in next week.

The point I am tensed for is the last point for work experience eligibility. ..
at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous:
  • full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
  • equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
  • full-time at more than 1 job:30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
In more than one job it should be 12 months continuous (I hope 10 days gap shouldn't be considered significant gap.)
And when clubbing 10 months of previous job to current job it becomes 2 yrs 15 months in 2172 NOC. Am I safe ??? Pls let me know guys.

Yes they do charge a fee.
The fees are for passport handling costs and also for sending them via courier (if you chose that option).
But I guess it's all like 2000 INR in total.
Not a big deal

Mine is documents uploaded, should i wait for my status to change??

I had it as review, but changed to uploaded after I called them on Friday. Didn't send anything via cse at all. Paid rprf along with aor. Many have had that experience.. like charge from review to uploaded for additional documents after calling.

In fact my background status changed to in progress same after I emailed them last week.

Yes but some consider having them as no documents needed as a good sign for a near pr
