Hi huys, I lost my PR card and I'm in US now, can I drive my car back to Canada and apply for PR card replacement? If so, what kind of document should I take?
Thanks!

What passport do you hold? Are you American? Do you have your COPR with you?

Confirmation of Permanent Residency (i.e. your landing papers).

By the way, I didn't live in Canada since my PR card issued last JAN, is that OK? I think I still have enough time to meet 2/5 years requirement.

If you are outside Canada, go to the nearest visa office. Apply for a permanent resident travel document (PRTD) to return to Canada. When you are back in Canada, apply to replace your PR card. Include section H (solemn declaration) and the receipt for the fee with your application.

That's fine. You can drive across the border and apply for a new card in Canada. Are you returning to Canada to live or do you just want to get a new PR card? If you are not returning and will still be living outside of Canada, there is a higher chance that you will be requested to pick up the card in person.

I will stay in Canada for some years!
