No, it's the next step. You can do it upfornt, but you may have to do it again if your application is not finalized during this time.

Are you gonna get police check from CA ?
From my understanding you have to provide it from every country where you have been/lived more than a 6 months.
Some said that from Ca you don't need,however our friends from EE to different pnp had to provide one from Ca upon the request.

As to make appointment in my city it takes 10days. Plus 10 for processing it

Toronto, they give you on the spot(within an hour) if you made it in express. I did it last year for my volunteer job.
