Yaay it's a Wednesday again. 9 hours to go! After much calculations and deliberations I'm sure everyone here will be eagerly awaiting the results. Wishing you all well. May you all get one step closer to your Canadian dream today.

Initially I had created a profile in my wife's name (with 383 points). I waited for 7 months not knowing that i could apply in my name and my job is a listed with Noc. Long story short, my colleague gets his invite and I'm now in the pool with 446 points. I hope today is the day for me.

Kind advice to all, if you're thinking of creating a profile, explore all resources available online. Don't blindly trust your agent. Further don't hesitate to spend money on any process if it'll fetch you even one additional point. (Because even that one point does count in this cat race). And finally always be prepared to shift once you're invited.

Cheers!

Guys, you are killing me! I disappear for a day to do 'work' and you knock out another 15 pages of posts. I'm going to have to ask my employer to go part time to keep up.

Key points noted during the past hour reading posts was @Sandeep198511 is joining us for the Yukon party, @KingKurly has pretty much got the vodka job (which means no Scottish whiskey, just the proper Irish stuff as he's now on vodka duty), @fahadsheikh has promised back to back draws, @wanderingmind still doesn't like grumpy people, @GavinSouthAfrica is moving Newfoundland and @andieangle is still a really really nice person.

Have I missed anything?
You pretty much summed it up mate ;) Although my vodka job most probably will be finalized, indications are good that everyone is getting some vodka along with the Irish whiskey that you will bring :D I have to admit, Irish Whiskey is lot more manlier than Scotch, so i ain't complaining ;) Few changes in the offing though. As @Sandeep198511 will be joining us for the party; since he doesn't drink, so the driving can be switched from@mqamar1994 to sandeep so our mate can also enjoy vodka, the whiskey n the Himalayan home brew of @xibalban lol. So looking forward to tonight's draw. How about you? :)

Hey guys,

Ill be in the pool on August 29th with approx 425-430 points depending what I get in my IELTS exam ofcourse (taking it at the end of this month). Any chance I could qualify for OINP? I would go through the Canadian experience class. Only thing i dont have is a masters degree. I just have a canadian diploma. Btw im barely 22 years old lol.
You can qualify for OINP if you have a bachelors degree (3 or more years). Im 22 too :) All the best mate.

Guys, small issue... But wanted some help.

I work in the Arab lands. And here we got something called a civil id.

So my name in the passport and the application form (CIC) is say Jon Snow. But in the civil id, which in turn is reflected in my bank account (proof of funds) my name shows as Jon Rhaegar snow i.e. My dad's name is present there.

1. I have asked the bank (I work in the same bank) to take my middle name off but they are saying they can't.
2. Will this be an issue?

KThanksBye

So realistic predictions for today?

Previously I really thought they'd be making up for the lack of draws in June but that never happened so I'm considering they have a max number of ITA's per draw they need to stick under that gently increases if required.

So assuming they pick 3600 again I can't see it drop under 440 today.

And before seniors jump on me it's the Ray of Hope thread not Ray of Delusions... gotta keep your feet on the ground here.

What's your name on your birth certificate?

My middle name is on some documents and not on others, can't see it being a problem at all and if it is then a simple LOE can explain it.
