Hi guys. Have asked this question earlier too but just not convinced. I am at 420 and recieved NOI from Ontario. Should i wait for couple of draws ? Or should i file OINP. Please advise. Its not just CAD 1500 but guess Ontario processing takes time. Please advice.

If 3 draws happen in July, you should expect an ITA latest by July 28th.

If draws happen only with 2 weeks gap (3400 ITAs per draw), the earliest you could receive an ITA would be on August 9th and the worst possible date would be November.

So you can take a decision to wait or go for OINP based on your risk apetite.

hope we all received ITA very soon :)....
Is CIC going to do only 1 draw every month...... i read some comments few months ago in our blog ????

I haven't seen any communication with regards to CIC conducting only 1 draw per month. The 4-week delay that occurred in June was due to changes implemented on June 6th. So, the draw cycle is expected to go back to the normal 2-week draw cycles going forward.

Friends,

I will be away for, probably, long and hence may not be active in the forum. Personal reasons, guys!! I will miss all of you, I was wishing to reach 1000 posts, but this might be my last :(.

Anyway, I will be in Yukon in 2018. My next post could be after I land in PEI. Till then, adieu!!

Hello guys... M at 406. And losing hope whether it will come down soon or not. Is there any possibility that it will come down till September? Otherwise I m gonna lose 5 more points then

Unless there are consecutive draws, the CRS cut off won't reach 406 by September.

A shoutout to my friends and well wishers @BillHyatt, @mqamar, @andieangel, @iamxty, @KingKurly, @xibalban, @arunroy007 @tjsecondtry and others who've always supported me with kind words of encouragement, I've some news to share with you all:

After exactly one month and one week since I applied, I've finally received my nomination from Ontario.

Many thanks and kind regards.
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! :);););):) Well deserved Nominee you are my dear friend @Wandering Mind, hope all the rest will get their nominations soon. When I read your post, I did jump of my place and was happy like I got it, may be that is true friendship. Hope you will not forget us when you get your ITA, as you guys said we have to create a new thread for exchanging our experiences in order to find a good pathway towards PR card. Hope we all get our ITAs and will join you soon mate. If you already created a new thread of "After getting ITA procedure experience" group, please let me know. :)

Next week will be a happy week, because we could see how low CRS would fall down. Sincerely believe that CRS could be around 425 (+- 4), right after that we will have big smiles on our face as we expect the CRS could come down to nearly 413 (+-5). ;)

Once again, congrats and accept my apology as I post here so late, you are one of the active members of this forum and I learn a lot from the posts you leave here each time you log in.

Hey,

I have a question and apologies if that has been already discussed before.

Just wanted to understand the view of our seniors in the group on the assumption that only one draw happens in this month again. What can be the approx cut off in that scenario? And that too if that happens at the month end like in June.

It is highly unlikely that CIC would have only 1 draw per month. The June draw was delayed due to changes implemented on June 6th.

In case there is only 1 draw in July (around July 26th or July 28th), the cut off would be around the same cut off as in the previous draw.

My rough calculation states the CRS cut off would fall by 11-12 points and reach 437 or 438, if the draw happens on July 12 with 3400 ITAs.

Do wait for my final prediction on July 12th.

Friends, I have a question. I was sitting at 399. Reappeared for IELTS and score improved slightly to 405. I thought of getting NOI from Ontario and so I withdrew my account and thought of submitting fresh. Even after Withdrawing my account, I can still see the status of my profile is Submitted. Moreover in Come to Canada tool, to start my process of resubmitting my profile, when I click on "Check your Eligibility" link, I'm getting error.

Sorry

This on-line service is currently not available.
Possible reasons::

Anybody else facing this error?

When I've already Withdrawn my profile, why the status is still showing as Submitted?

Please help!!

Seems you have pretty much covered all avenues. If you don't have a master's degree or a 2nd post-secondary qualification, it may be worth looking into. I know it will take long, but it may give you the extra points you need.

Besides that, keep your eyes open for PNPS and pray without ceasing.

All the best

Yeah pretty much everything. Let's see if I can do something about learning French! Hope floats :)

Guys, I'm re-submiting this question as I haven't got any answer maybe some experts skipped an eye, if anybody has an idea regarding my concern as below, then plz do help!

Thanks:)

Hi folks,

I have a question that I hope one has an answer for.

My NOC 2145 (Petroleum Engineers) with 7 years of experience and I'm standing at 378 CRS.

My question is, when looking for a job in Canada to get extra 50 points, is it compulsory that the job I look for be in same NOC which is 2145?

Would it be ok to look for any job in order to get an extra 50 points for a job offer?

Thanks!:)
