I'll jump in too. I'm applying with my husband; he's the primary applicant. Our CRS is 435, we've been in the EE pool since June 19 and got an NOI from Ontario on June 23.

I have my own random question while we all wait impatiently. Do the 10 year histories they want start as of the ITA being granted or from the date of submitting the PR application? I guess the date of entering the EE pool is also possible but that seems unlikely.

Hi everyone, new member here!

Just applied to join the pool, now it's time to wait.

Currently have a CRS score of 456 - is there a chance the required points will increase for the next draw? Thanks, and good luck!
No chance, unless 1 of the below happens:
1) Next draw is on July 26th or later
2) ITAs issued in the next draw is drastically reduced

There is a flaw in this calculation. How have you come up with the 'Average no. of applicant inflow per day : 150'?

Is the average number based on the CIC data released as of June 22?
Have you included the average number of applicants entering the express entry pool with CRS 401 and above only?

Please find below the data released by CIC.

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool as of June 22, 2017

CRS Score Range Number of Candidates
601-1200
355
451-600 2,216
441-450 809
431-440 1,082
421-430 1,172

Let me give you an average based on just the data mentioned as of Jun 22.

We had a draw on May 31 with CRS cut off as 413, which basically means after the draw happened on May 31, the number of active applicants with a CRS score of 413 and above in the Express Entry Pool is 0 as on May 31, 2017.

For calculation easiness, I am considering only the data of applicants above 421 CRS as of June 22.

On May 31 2017, 0 applicants above CRS 421 and above
On Jun 22 2017, 5634 (355+2216+809+1082+1172) applicants with CRS 421 and above

So based on the above 2 points, in 22 days (from May 31 to Jun 22) 5634 applicants entered the pool with CRS 421 and above.
Hence, Average no. of applicants entered EE pool per day with a CRS of 421 and above = 5634/22 = 256

Notes:
1) The average includes those who have improved their scores + new applicants.
2) The average is a bit on the higher side than usual as the June 6 changes were implemented during this timeframe.

I am using data which is being published by CIC from March 2017 till date for my calculations and the average intake per day to the Express Entry pool for CRS 421 and above is approximately 215.
Your estimation is accurate your previous prediction for 66th draw came true i really appreciate your effort me personally i trust your calculation.
So can you make your final calculation for the next draw cutoff point... we will be wating......

Thanks! Looking at your CRS you will be too hopefully. Any educated guesses on when the next draw will be? 12th July or later?
Not sure when CIC will do the next draw but hopefully July 12th or sooner. As you can see, my score is just below the last cutoff so for selfish reasons, I do not wish CIC delay the draw further :)

Need some advice from well informed members here. I am currently in the pool a single applicant with crs 444, I am planning to get married by the end of 2017. If I get ITA during july then I assume my application would still be under process when I get married so I have following questiona:
1. Should I apply for my wife if I get married before getting my PR. Will it affect my application in any way?
2. If I get married after getting PR and then apply for my wife, how long does it take to get dependent application processed?
3. Can she live in Canada on visit visa while her application is in process?
I am a bit confused and some clarity on this would really help me make my decisions. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the first question, but I think it is better just to wait for a few months and then apply as a couple. It is my understanding that if you get your PR it might take up to one year to bring your spouse.

I´m on a similar situation and what I will do is simply wait until I get married in November before entering the pool. I still need to gather most of the documents anyway, so I will spend the following months working on that, in order to be ready when/if I get my ITA.

but he's already in the Pool
from what i know you should decide based on the difference (+ve / -ve) it's going to make on your CRS score. That depends on your spouse's IELTS score , education etc.

If it's dipping down the overall CRS by huge then i would say just update your EE profile whenever you get married , apply for visitor visa for spouse
if it's not making much difference then apply together (select yes i would bring my spouse along)
that being said have IELTS , ECA done for her

Rest i will let you know if i get more clarity

I would withdraw my profile if I were him and then re-enter after the wedding, as married. This would avoid him additional complications.

Besides, given his score he will definitely get an ITA even if his spouse is included.

Anyway, that's just me, perhaps he urgently needs his ITA.

So I will go ahead with my application and update cic in case I get married before getting PR. Otherwise if get married after I have got PR then I will take her with me on visit visa while her application will be in process. Hope my understanding is correct. Pls clarify of I am missing something important.

Thanks for valuable input, actually I have been waiting for more than a year and now my score is improved due to ielts and I have all docs ready except for PCC and medical so I do not want to delay the process and take more chances. Thanks.

The first part is perfect, he can transfer the money to ur account and execute a gift deed. U can submit ur bank statement and gift deed that wud suffice. Properties aren't considered as POF.
Thanks for your reply. I was actually concerned because after he transfers the money to my account, I guess he will be left with around 2000 CAD, will that be a problem, since I ll have to submit his bank statement as well
