These articles only inaccurately linked the drop of application to the fee increase while blatantly ignoring the impact of 4/6 rule - it is basically borderline fake news, no need to pay much attention to it. We will find out once the 3/5 rule is implemented, without reducing the fee, the number of application will go right back to its usual level and higher
