Hello Gurus

I have applied last nov and received a denial
My profile: bachelor in chem engineering

Admission at polytechnique Montreal

Reasons of refusal

Travel history ( I never traveled out of my country)
Purpose of visit
Financials (I have submitted a check of $30,000 from a bank in Canada; I have an uncle in Canada)
Finally the officer found that my proposed studies were not a natural progresssion

Now I have an admission in computer technology (2 years diploma) from an Ontario College

Please advise
Thank you

Hi, a study in computer technology is totally irrelevant to the chem engineering. Choose the course which is most relevant to your previous study.

You can do one more thing, choose a college where both computer technology and chem courses are available. Apply for the visa with the chem course and after getting the visa and reaching in Canada, change your course to computer technology in the same college.

Have you applied for CAIPS?

You have too many weak points in your package. Diploma after Bachelors is not reasonable progression. You need strong SOP or it should be PG diploma at least. Your study has to be relevant to your past experience.

Your uncle in Canada is sponsoring you. That raises doubt that you may not leave the country and stay back illegally. You have to show strong ties to home country ( family member / business, property in your name , job prospect on return )

Your CAIPS should have more detailed information. Try to post the whole paragraph here. Many more things can be gleaned out from the way VO wrote the note.
