Gosh, it seems the candidates who submit in June get their nomination much faster.
I submitted mid-May, and still stuck in DIP status, feeling desperate...
I submitted mine on May 31 and the site crashed as soon as I paid the fees. I should've guessed right then it won't be an easy ride ahead ;)

I'm Decision in Progress since June 10.

Good luck to you.

What's your NOC? Mine is 2171. I submitted my application on May 17th and it went to DIP on 25th of May. I have never been asked to provide additional document. I emailed them two days ago and they replied me after 12 hours by sending this per-written message:

Thank you for your email correspondence to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) mailbox.

Applications to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) are processed in the order in which they are received. However, some applications may take longer to process than others depending on individual circumstances. You will be contacted if there are any further questions.

We hope this information will assist you. Once again, thank you for your email and for your interest in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

Sincerely,
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

If someone is from NOC 2171 and has been waiting for nomination since Mid May, please send me a Private message, so we can check on each other without spamming this precious thread.

Thank you in advance

Hello house, please i just need your help. Can somebody help me with the list of documents that i will need for my application. I am hoping that i will get my NOI today so i want to start preparing myself... Thanks
Hello,
You are welcome and good luck with the NOI, pls refer to the 1st page, all that you need is broken down there. Pls take ur time to read and understand it properly, you may want to look at the application guide too for all the info you need.
You will need
1. Reference letter from the work on the NOC you are applying for-- signed on work letter head and describing your roles and duties
2. 6 months bank statement
3. Proof of fund may be in form of Mutual fund, fixed deposit and the likes-- you need a letter to also show that the fund is not encumbered
4. Duplicate WES report to be sent to OINP
5. Scan copies of ur IELTS result, all pages of your intl Passport- blank and stamped pages

for all that you would need pls read the guideline before applying, i made some mistakes in my application because i rushed and delayed my Nomination. Get all you need before you apply, you have 6months on the NOI and 14days only for submission once you create the profile.
Good Luck my brother from Africa

Hello @BillHyatt,

Quite new on this forum. I have read through the thread extensively and would need clarification on the following areas:

1. I got notification of interest from OINP and proceeded to create a profile and subsequently realized that there is a time limit of 14 days for submission of the application. Is extension possible? One document is still pending for my POF.

2. My POF is strictly the surrender value of my Savings Plan with Zurich Insurance. It's currently worth more than USD 20,000 for a family of 3. Do I still require to submit a bank reference letter and statement of account in this scenario?

3. I entered the pool after the job bank requirement was no longer compulsory hence I didn't get a job seeker validation code. However, on the OINP application, the field for is mandatory. How do I proceed?

Thanks in advance.

1. You can cancel the file or let it expire after 14 days, and re-create once you have all documents available. You have 6 months from NOI to submit. You may need to explain OINP why you cancelled the first file.

2. Yes it's a requirement of OINP to submit bank statements and letters. Although, it doesn't have much impact on Decision but still it is a requirement. You can simply attach statements and explain your situation.

3. You can register for the Job Bank and you will receive the code. Job Bank is voluntary for EE but mandatory for OINP. You cannot get Nomination without these information.

I hope you got your answer.

Hi everyone! I'm on an early stage of the Immigration Process to Canada. I submitted my EE profile on June 20; I meet all the criteria for the Human Capital Stream. CRS 403. I'd like to know, how many days you consider I should wait to receive a Notification of Interest from Ontario? Or if you recommend me to retake the English test. Thank you!
