But only 2897 Nominations remaining now for 2017 as on 19th June, 2017. And some profiles are still receiving NOI letter. (Yesterday as well)
However, there a lot of those who received NOI's with CRS below 410, like me, are waiting for the next draw, and those with 410+ are definitely not going to accept the invitation. So I don't think OINP nomination will be filled up soon (like in the next 4-8 weeks).

Thats quite enough if you think about it....most ppl over 410 will prefer to wait for ITA rather than spend on OINP.

actually i have my own doubts on 25k left quota, because from all ITAs issued there would be around 10% of them through PNP so i think that will not count in because PNP has their own quota of 51k and some ITA would have been rejected due to some problem so we still have around 30k ITAs left and i don't think candidates over 400 crs are more then 12 to 15k
1 ITA does not mean 1 PR.

Positive side for those awaiting ITA:
1) People decline ITAs and re-enter the EE pool
2) ITAs are issued for people applying under PNP also
3) People who do not submit their application after receiving an ITA
4) People get rejected/refused by CIC after applying for PR

Negative side for those awaiting ITA:
1) The 72,000 PR limit includes primary+spouse, which means 1 ITA can also result in 2 PRs.

As we do not have data to figure out all the above points, so we cannot predict what are the actual number of ITAs remaining to be issued in 2017.

Also, the number of candidates in a particular CRS range is not constant, it keeps on changing due to the below factors.

Negative side for those awaiting ITA:
1) New profiles being created (everyday somebody in some part of the world is deciding to migrate to Canada)
2) Increase in CRS score of existing profiles due to IELTS improvement, higher education, more work experience, Provincial nomination, etc.
3) ITA received in previous draw has been declined by applicant (re-entering the EE pool)
4) Application refused by CIC (re-entering the EE pool)

Positive side for those awaiting ITA:
1) Profiles expiring after 1 year and not being recreated
2) Decrease in CRS score of existing profiles due to IELTS expired and lower IELTS score in subsequent test, age, etc.

As you can see, lot of factors affect the composition of the tool, hence it is not a steady static composition of applicants in the Express Entry system.

After reading a lot of these newbie / my chance posts, I would like to ask for comments too.

My CRS is around 5000 points.
My IELTS are all off the chart. R/L/W/S all rated 200.5.
My birthday is next month and I will receive an additional 500 points.
I have dogs and cats who I called brothers and sisters living in Canada.
I have no PoF but my money is in the astronomical figures.

What is my chance... o_Oo_O

Of being diagnosed as crazy in addition to getting ITA :p

As we wait for a draw today, June 23rd 2017, I salute your patience . ITA hopefully is on the way. For our present worries and anxieties is in no way compared to the end goal. Patience , it will come. Thank you.

Is there a fixed time when draw happens or announced???

According to analysis of CIC data they are short with 30,000 applications for PR overall. Despite the increase in ITA and decrease in scores they still have significantly failed to meet targets and PR applications are much lower as compare to the comparative periods of the last 2 Years.

Looking into these factors CIC decided to give extra points and relaxing some of its regulations.

Taking this into account in order to meet their targets either they will have to increase ITA's or relax rules for those already in Canada. In both cases I don't feel CRS can go up for a long period. Therefore, we can expect back to back draws in upcoming months and pushing scores down. The mean calculated by immigration specialists suggests the threshold score to be 384, and CRS may come down to this level by the end of this year.

Someone asked a question that if OINP pressurise CIC to move score Up. The simple answer is NO, they are controlled by the Federal State and are required to follow CIC standards and guidelines. Anything related to PR is on the discreation of CIC only.

Finally, I am not active in this thread due to lack of data available at the moment. Once we have latest draw, I will be in a better position to predict scores.

Good Luck to all!
Very informative post.

Can you provide more insights into the below statement.

Yes Let's say it will take another 3-5 months for this Quota to filled up. Not sure if it's divided equally amongst all categories.

No fixed time or date. Most of the draws happen on Wednesdays with a 2 week gap and are expected around Canada morning time.

Second most likely day for a draw is Friday, that's why the hopes are very high for today. The biggest gap between 2 draws this year was 23 days (Mar 1 and Mar 24).

Today Jun 23 is exactly 23 days after the previous draw on May 31.

Thanks

I did see someone mention that I would have to get reference letters for all my jobs over the last 10 years for OINP. That would be a real pain. It's only 4 jobs but one of them is in another country and that company liquidated. Oh and the other one was with a consulting company which has disappeared.. already caused me some pain with my tax returns as they didn't give me my documents.

I've just depressed myself.

I have a doubt here, is the number of nomination issued same as the number of NOI they have sent, or actually the number of nominations issued for people who applied on receiving NOI and have been issued nominations? Sorry but I am so confused here like others while waiting for next draw. :)

No.
Number of NOIs issued would be more than the number of nominations as not everyone who receives the NOI applies for Ontario PNP as they might have got direct ITA after receiving NOI or they might be awaiting a direct ITA soon.
