Hello,
Little background here. Just hit 1 year so common law status in early June. We are looking to submit sponsorship. I am US citizen, and he is Canadian. Perusing through the forums, it seems Outland application is much quicker for US applicants, on average 4-6 months it seems. (but yes i know it's not a guarantee)
I assume all the forms I filled out stay the same as well as proof of relationship (However do i list my old US address then even if I have been staying here?) I have seen yes, and no's
Here is the dilemma
Current Visitor status is up July 12th. I am Pregnant now (Due 11/2)
With the timeline for outland applicants, it is likely that i would get a medical request before delivery (which i know can be deferred temporarily)
My question is Would it make more sense to just do inland with OWP (on average 4 month wait which is after I am due if it were declined) to hold my status (never really planned to travel as of yet anyway) Or should I continue on with Outland and try for another extension? I am worried that It is possible that they wont approve my extension of visitor status (and be requested to leave before delivery) if I request more than 6 months (to be sure application is processed since pregnant)
Not sure what the best choice is here.
