Hi all,

Great information on these forums. Thank you to all members for providing such a valuable resource for applying to Canada.
I am currently in uae and am hoping to apply by end of July. (currently waiting for ECa and my ielts would be completed by July as well).
I got a little ahead of myself and applied to Pcc already as I read that it takes a lot of time. To my surprise, it came through very soon as it was an online application.
My question is regarding the pcc. My PCC is issued on June 4th. In a best case scenario for example if I get my ITA within August, and then after that I have 90 days to submit eapr, would I need to reapply for PCC? If I received it on the 4th of June, I should be able to use it till 4th of December right?
Please correct me if i am wrong.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the reply!
Bearing in mind that the uae pcc mentions validity for 3 months from issue date, would cic still consider it valid for 6 months from issue date?

Hi,

Although IRCC says PCC from country of residence should be taken no longer than 6 months before you submit, you can not submit an invalid document. So you must submit it within 3 months of being issued.
