You don't understand why there is so much whinging? Probably you are new for Canada, as I see from you signature you are. If it is not how long did you live in Canada? How much money did you spend in Canada? How many times did you provide documents to immigration office? I am sure you can't provide answers for these questions because you are new! Each time when you are extending or chaning your status in Canada you have to almost provide the same documents which you are providing for permanent residency ! Why you have to keep sending same documents and why they have to spend time each time to review it? Do you know that I extended my visas/status in Canada 5 times and I still have to provide and wait?! What about people like me or other people who can reply for thess questions because they lived and suffered from Canada a lot. Do you know why I am rushing and why I don't like to wait? Because I already waited more than 6 and half years in order to get PR (chaning my status, trying apply provincial programs -waited 1 and half years in Alberta after I spent 5 month in Saskatchewan, CIC keep changing rules). Yes you are right 6 and half years in total. I am CEC outland NOW. I spent more than 100 000$ in Canada for my education and accommodation, food etc. I know any immigration, (insurance, bank)'s rules, laws from 2010, how do I know or why do I know? Because Immigration of Canada keep changing their rules sometimes each month. You DON'T know how immigration can screwed up you by human mistake? DO you know that I sent URGENT request in 2015 to return back my passport as soon as possible to renew my visa sticker as because my mom needed me to see last time in her life?Do you know that immigration can gave me in 1 week back my passport but it took 1 month, I would save my mom's live to give my kidney her? However, I provided all documents to immigration to prove that my case is really urgent. If they don't care about this how they would care about regular cases?
Do you know how office employees work in Canada? Do you know that Immigration of Canada was able to process 30 000 refugees in 3 month? No you don't?! Do you know that Immigration has access to database of FBI and Canadian Security Intelligence Service? No you don't! They can check any person in maximimum 1 hour? They can process any application in 1 day, I can prove you. How do I know that they have an access because there is legal documentary tv video showing that. If you was in Canada where did you work? Do you know why they don't want to process so fast? Why they have to rush themselves ? They are getting pay cheque anyway, do you know that most of the immigration employee can take 15 minutes break each 1 hour that they have worked!
Did you work at the Bank or Insurance company ? May be yes but I think you are not. Do you know how difficult to get job in Canada as a receptionist and I am not talking about the job likes Financial Analyst, Investment Advisor etc. If you have worked one year at one of the prestigious offices in Canada which means you already proved not just immigration agent who are reviewing you profile 4 or 6 month, you already proved to Canadian society that you are deserved to be Canadian!
CEC people deserve more than anybody in all these streams to be ahead from anybody (except Alberta provincial nomenee program because processing time is around 2 years).
I can write you hours and hours about Immigration and life in Canada but I will stop myself here as what you are saying is totally wrong. If you don't know what is happing in reality just be quite and keep your opinions in side yourself. Please and thank you.
I'm sorry to hear of your difficult story and hope you, and everybody else here, gets their PR very soon. My words were not well put and I think reflected my own frustrations. Apologies and good luck to all.
