I wonder what they mean
Can you share your specific timeline and let us know if you're inland applicant since it is very important for us to predict what would happen?

after waiting 2 years for PR and 1 year after medical exam, I sent a email to Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration and get the following reply that is useless as before. it is not great to wait 2 years when everybody get the result in one year.

Dear *******:

Thank you for your correspondence of May 9, 2017, addressed to the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, regarding your application for permanent residence under the Skilled Worker and your wife’s medical needs.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) realizes that those who have submitted their application look forward to a decision being rendered within a reasonable waiting period after applying. We make every effort to deal with the applications we receive in the most efficient and effective way. However, the many steps involved in processing an application, coupled with the volume of applications, sometimes make it difficult to conclude cases in as timely a manner as we would like.

In general, non-routine applications may take longer, depending on their complexity. For example, IRCC conducts background checks by working together with partner agencies such as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, the Canada Border Services Agency, medical authorities and agencies of foreign governments. Background screening processes are non-discriminatory and universal in their application, and any delays or requirements that IRCC’s partner agencies may require in providing input are something over which the Department has no control. In such cases, the processing times posted on the IRCC Website may no longer apply.

Departmental records indicate that your application is being actively processed at the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville. While I cannot give you a timeframe for the completion of this application, please rest assured that you will be contacted should additional information be required, or once a final decision has been reached.

I checked his or her previous posters. there are only two. One mentioned that he or she is a citizen and now is living Toronto. The second mentioned that he or she got the decision recently. I don't understand why a citizen needs PR application. Maybe I am wrong.

it is part of reply, after that they write about our medical situation and describe how federal part is not responsible and that health care falls under the responsibility of the provinces and territories

Well basic query we should ask them is how they get all those information for express entry candidates with in 6 months ? are they not going through same set/standards of check which are mentioned in above reply ... it will be same set of agencies ... then what is the reason for delay for person applying under certain program ...and expedited processing for people applied under other program..

Hi,
Bro since you are the best informative member here on this forum...
I got this from immigration yesterday
"
This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa. Please note that admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.

We wish to remind you at this time that yourRight of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding. You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. Please note that this fee is different from the processing fees paid at the opening of your application. The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.

If you delay the payment of the RPRF, your security or medical results may expire, which would delay the issuance of your visas. If you already paid the RPRF (490$), please resend your receipt and then we will allocate the fees to your file. We therefore encourage you to pay the RPRF as soon as possible, by following these steps"
Whqt do you think is happening here ?? Is it a good sign??
GNOLE??
