Hello everyone! Questions for seniors on the forum-
1. Do you recommend hiring a resume writing expert to convert my CV with only Indian work experience into one that attracts Canadian recruiters?
2. If yes, any particular resume writers/ firms that you would recommend?
3. If no, any particular websites that you would recommend for guidance on this?

Thanks

Nidhi

Thank you, Bs65. Yes, I have looked at this link and googled this topic extensively. My concern is that a lot of people recommend getting the resume written by a professional and I want to know if that really makes a difference.
Even I would be interested in this question....

Hello Nidhi,

Here are a few tips for your first Canadian style resume:
- Do not include your photo
- Do not include personal information such as height, weight, religion, citizenship status, etc.
- Be honest and truthful when writing your skills and qualifications
- Emphasize your accomplishments
- Keep it short. 2 pages maximum.
