Hey Every one,

I am super happy :)

I am 16th september applicant.

I Had interview today AT 10:30 am New Delhi.

Officer called us in booth at 11:45 so we had to wait 1hour 15 minute

My husband (sponsor) was with me. VO was very nice. Asked only 3 questions.

1- Common law is not common In India so how we are in common law.

2- What was husband address before we moved to Nepal.

3- Can we travel before 24th June (my medical expiry)

We took lots of document with us but officer didnt ask for anything. All she asked for both of our passport.

VO and we had some laugh and she said wait I am going to stamp your passport.

So we were with officer only for 20 minutes and came out with VISA

ECAS still says in process ;) Which I dont care anymore lol.

Thank you for all the support. All the best to everyone.

:)
Many congrats Preetistephen!! :) Wish and pray my wife also gets her visa stamped this coming week in her interview!

Hi everyone! I hope you could help me on this! So, I plan to visit my husband in Canada this July, It would be our anniversary by then and I am planning to visit for a few weeks, what I'm worried about is that I might be called for an interview and of course, that is a hassle if you have a specific return date. COULD I TRY TO EMAIL/CALL/INFORM CIC WHETHER I COULD DO THE INTERVIEW IN CANADA? and Second question is, if ever I am waived on the interview but they ask for my passport (PPR letter) CAN I SUBMIT IT IN CANADA INSTEAD OF IN MANILA? I have read a blog about someone having their family submit their passports in Manila since that was their visa office while he got his changed to Singapore since he was working there and was easier for him to do that.

Thanks so much in advance!!!
Outland applicants can't have their interviews in Canada.

Hello,

I have a question. I am the sponsor. My wife has her interview in a couple of days. Looking at my forms, I find some things that are making me very stressed. In my relationship story, I wrote our wedding date got fixed in May. But in my wife's story it says end of April. Is this sort of thing a big deal? If they ask, what is the best way to answer them? We are a genuine couple, there is nothing we lied about intentionally. Please help me out asap!

Why do you have two different answers?

Why do you have two different answers?
It is an honest mistake. Things happened in the end of April and in May but we didnt have exact dates of when these things happened as its hard to put a exact date on when certain things happened.

Hello everyone, I hope if anyone can give me some help here, please.

At the interview, the interviewer looked at all the proofs for a while he brought with him and asked him questions:

The questions are bellow:

1. How do we meet

2. who introduced us

3. where do I live

4. Which school did I go to

5. Where do I work

6. which shift do I usually do at work

7. What is the shifts hour look like

8. The distance between my home to school and my workplace

9. When is Winter there (which month to which month)

10. Where did she travel in canada? (my husband answered it 100% right, but the interviewer said its very limited traveling, We don't know why she said that )

11. Which special things about the city you wife showed you when we talk to each other on Skype. ( My husband answered that my wife has shown me the lake area she visited, in summer the weather is very nice she shown me how the skies are really beautiful in summer there and also in winter when everything gets white and covered in snow. the interviewer asked if these are any special. I don't know what does that even mean, I exactly have shown him all these but nothing else. )

12. Which floor at the university do I have classes

13. which floor do I like study at the University ( He couldn't answer this as who ever talk about on which floor they are, rather he answered she always studies at the library at the University and described the place where I usually sit and talk to him. which he answered right we think)

14. Why didn't I go back after my wedding as its almost 8 months now? (he answered Because she is a student she did not get any long gap between semesters, and it's also very expensive, but she is planning to come in few months after her class in summer is done)

15. How many classes I am taking ( he answered 1, and its right)

16. she asked the name of the class (My husband sais it's her department related class but he cannot recognize the class code number at this moment) - I guess it's my fault, as I didn't think I have to tell the code number to my husband as well

17. Why you guys didn't get married before

18. how many siblings do I have

19. when did My sister got married

20. Where was the wedding

21. how many siblings does he have?

22. If he applied to Canada before and got refused (he answered, yes I have applied for study permit and got refused )

23. How many times (he answered one time) The interviewer and interpreter looked at each other and nodded at each other in a yes motion )

24. why did he propose me for marriage after he got refused ( which he answer, he proposed my before he got his study permit refusal letter, and showed them the refusal letter and the date, and proved that he was saying the truth)

25. If he can name my few friends and where do they study (he did )

26. if one of my friends is married and does your wife know her husband and how does she know him.

27. where do my mother and father work and when

28. If I have any student loan

At the end, they said they will email him and asked if he wants to say something.

Now, we are little confused and thinking if the interview was good. My husband answered all of the honestly and right.

Also, as I will be going to see my husband in few months as he said in the interview too, I am planning to get my air tickets and send the ticket to them through the Web form to show it as a proof that I am going to visit him, Is this sound like a good idea?

Please if anyone or any experts can help, Thank You.

Regarding the post above, we got married on August last year. We were in a relationship from last 8 years and I came to Canada on 2010. I am a student and my husband is working. We applied 7 months ago and got the interview couple of days ago. We have submitted every shot of proofs, My student loan papers (where my husband need to sign with his information for me to get the loan here).
The interviewer said that we know each other for such a long time but it seems like he knows little about my city and me. We don't know why would she say that because he answered them all right about me. We are very worried as at the end of the interview did not say if they are satisfied or not. We have been away from each other for long, we can not wait anymore. thank you

Just tell them the true story in a comprehensive manner supported by whatever solid relationship proofs you have. They will look for evidences for genuine relationship.

Good luck!

The interview looked like a good one. You may contact your local federal MP if your husband doesn't get response in 6-8 weeks after interview. Also collect his GCMS notes.

Good luck!

Don't worry. Most probably it will be overlooked. If they ask tell them the correct time and mention that the wrong date was inserted inadvertently.
