Quick question....

My wife did her medical last week. So how does it work in terms of results? Do they tell us whether she has passed or they send the results directly to the VO? In our online account, not the ecas, it says "you have passed the medical exam" but we havent heard anything yet.

The results are sent straight to the VO. If it says you've passed that's great news.

Thank you! Also another question...

Just like many other people on this forum, we haven't been requested to upload the Schedule A yet. It seems to be an ongoing issue with a lot of people. So any advice? What should i do?

As of late I know that a lot of people have had technical issues on their account (including myself). There are no upload field on the CIC account. Verify your spouse's ECAS status and see if it says that the correspondence email has been sent out. Most likely it has but your spouse has not received any email yet. In that case I would advise you to call the IRCC Call Centre to enquire. They could ask you to upload whichever requested
documents through the IRCC Webform. Please ensure you enquire before taking the next step.

Hey Everyone,

I need some help and clarification:
We received our AOR on May 20. We have a representative to handle our case.
PA is from india, we talked to our representative today about linking the account and she said they don't link the account because that gives them very little time frame to upload a document, even if they link it she won't be able to share password with us, as they use corporate email and everybody's account is linked together.
We tried explaining her that sending documents from india by mail can take 10-15 business days per mail. So now we have 3 options:
1. If she gets permission from her boss, let her link our account and let her check it regularly for us?
2. Go with mailing documents instead of online?
3. Withdraw our representative and create an account online ourselves and handle from there?

What do you guys suggest would be a better option?

Guys 4th line added.. haven't rcvd mail for AOR2 yet... but it says we started processing your application may 20 2017, is it a sign that my file has been opened by NDVO ?

I believe so, and you should be expecting to see the AOR2 email soon enough. Congrats!!!

P.S: How long after to uploaded your documents through the Webform did you call them to verify if they were attached to your application?

Sheen if your representative sent you the AOR 1 mail...you can make a profile yourself using your own email address and link your application using the PA's UcI and info ...it's not mandatory that they have to use their corporate address, you can use your own...
I did the same thing for my wife too...
Believe me it speeds up the processing....

You're welcome. I uploaded the documents last Thursday and I'm wondering if I should mail them the copies as well or should I call before mailing them? What do you suggest? Also what address did you send the copies to? Thank you.

Hi, thank you so much for your reply !!!
So by doing this way and providing our email, all the updates will come directly to us? Should the PA link the account or it doesn't matter ?

Well yaa all the important updates are visible to you..
PA should link the account .. but if they are not that perfect with computers or mycic account .. then you can do it... My wife gave my email address for my wife's mycic account and shared her login info so that I can keep a track ...in case she is busy...
You can do it now as well .. it will take you almost 15 - 25 mins to make a new gc key account and then link app.
Make sure that mycic account is in PA's name and name should be same as on their passport.
Choose security questions that are easy or write down answers at a safe place.

When you link file
There are a few tricks you can also read April and March 2017 forums..
City of birth for your spouse should be 1 space (just click the field and hit space bar once)
No need to put passport info..
First name last name and destination province as mentioned in the file.
Number of applicants 2 (you and your spouse ,+1 for each kid/dependent)
That's how I linked mine and my friend's ...
Good luck

I'll suggest mail the copies .. as there is no harm in that call them on Tuesday as tomm is holiday.
The address is same as the place where you sent your file.
Don't forget to put an extra a4 size sheet with PA's UCI ,File number , full name, date of birth ,country of birth and the documents that you are sending that is schedule A & PCC ..

Did you receive the request for Schedule A on email or through mail? They sent a letter to my husband which is in Canada, stated that they will send me a separate request in 5 days, but 10 days have passed I havent received any email or letter yet.
I have a same situation as yours..But i just passed my medicals

Hi, april applicant here ✋, im so worried right now.. its almost 4 weeks and still waiting for AOR. Some of april applicant received their AOR already :(

Hi guys, I am the one being sponsored by my boyfriend, but I thought instead of just being a lurker I would join and share my application progress so far. From what I've read I appear to be lucky in that so far all has been smooth for us.

Application Sent: 31st March
Application Received:10th April
AOR email received: 9th May
Application linked to GCKey: 9th May
Medical Exam request: 10th May
Schedule A and Police Report Request: 15th May
Medical Exam taken: 18th May
Schedule A and Police Report Uploaded: 18th May

So at this point we are just awaiting for the confirmation of them obtaining the medical results and that I have passed the medical and the uploaded documents. From what people have said with difficulty getting the request/uploading the schedule A so I am considering us lucky at this point.
