Hi,

I've been asked to upload two docs (PCCs) with a deadline via my myCIC account messages. They also added two upload sections in my myCIC page to enable me to provide those documents to them.

I have already uploaded one of the documents. For the other document, I want to explain why I am not able to provide it by the deadline and possibly ask for an extension.

I see two options:

1. Open a new CSE using IRCC webform and explain that I've uploaded one doc in myCIC and why I haven't uploaded the other one yet and won't be able to until after the deadline. Leave myCIC upload page unsigned.

2. Upload an explanation letter in the spot for the document I can't upload and sign the myCIC upload page (So it essentially submits my documents).

I'm not sure which is supposed to be done? Any help from you experienced members is appreciated.

Thanks

I am not a expert but my suggestion is to upload a explanation letter for the second document and include all the proof that you have done your best to that document. Like your request of application to get the PCC, any response from that country, etc.

By the way, did you submit the application without the PCC?

Thank you ja_jamal. Yes I submitted eAPR without PCC with a letter of explanation. I hope they continue to be patient with me :(

@emsea405 what s your timeline? AOR date? How many days after AOR did you get the request?

I think you should proceed with 2. Upload an explanation letter in the spot for the document you can't upload and sign the myCIC upload page, because it will go directly to them, and with CSE you risk rejection because it takes A LOT of time it gets to them and may surpass your deadline.

Thank you astralsource. I will proceed with 2 as you suggest. My AOR was 27 Feb. I got their request on May 16.
