My CRS now is 431. I have 30 points for education in Canada... I have a masters degree from an accredited university, but it was an international program that required to take classes in 3 different countries so I was only in Canada for four months...
I would have 401 if I don't claim any point for this!
I know the points have been dropping.... I just don't know what should I do!
As far as I know, as long as the program is at least 8 months and offered by a DLI, then the education counts.
If your degree/program qualify, then you get points for both the masters and the Canadian education. It's not one or the other, they go together based on program eligibility. So unless you believe your degree/program does not qualify, then probably you have nothing to worry about.
At my university, there are exchange students who study for two years in another country then 2 years in Canada, and get a degree from the Canadian institution. No reason that their degree should be weighted any differently than any other alum.
