Urgent - Visa Office change request after PPR

I got PPR on Feb 13/2017 to submit to VFS India. However I am living in New Zealand for the past 6 and half years.

I sent a email and a CSE to New Delhi requesting them to change it so I can submit it locally.

Getting impatient even though it has only been 3 days!

hi! Can you tell me what your VO said about changing your VO to the nearest one? I am on the same boat and Im trying to figure out what to do. thanks

On 5th May 2017, I received a letter from High Commission of Canada New Delhi Office, requesting to submit mine and all my dependents passports with in 30 days in order to finalize my Permanent Residence application.

Currently I am residing in Toronto, Can I submit only my Passport for stamping here at CPC-Ottawa office and I can ask my dependents to submit their passports for stamping at New Delhi, India office via VFS??

Any one faced this situation??

I have a similar question. I am in Canada and my wife has gone to India and I requested a VO change for my wife but the letter I got for change of VO is addressed to me does it mean they changed both our VO to india? I am confused now.

Hello how did you solved your issue,i am also in Canada now but my wife and kids are in Nepal and our VO is NDVO,I got PPR on June 14 and i have sent email to CPC Ottawa on 15th June to change my dependents VO to NDVO to submit their passports .However, i have received two emails on June 16,one in inbox and another in Junk folder but all are same .But those email is nothing related to visa office changes.
Any idea guys how long should i wait or should i call and follow up?

Hope someone sees it! two years later !!

Once we receive the PRR, high chances are that my husband would be in US on F1 and i will be in India. The PPR would be to submit it in India. Would it be possible to change the VO for my husband? I am the primary applicant?

i have answered your question well through PM and even Anup did so why are you worrying too much?Yes it would be possible but you should submit your Passport first to CPC Ottawa because you are a PA and once you will get passport and COPR back then do flagpole and you will get new PPR for your husband to submit his passport near to his place.Or you could email to CPC Ottawa once you get PPR requesting to change VO for your husband and they will response in couple of days.

Unfortunately, I see no message in PM.. could be some network issue.
As per my understanding I would need to submit the passport at Local VSF office, right sir? ( Bangalore in my case)
So i hope i would request for a VSF change to US local or Ottawa for my husband, and mine i will send to Bangalore only and hopefully it would be smooth.
My eagerness and worry is because, my husband has his Visa interview for US in a couple of days which is dependent on PR process. We dont want to risk PR at all.

First wait for PPR letter and see the instructions where to submit your passport.But if you want to request to change VO for your husband then you need to request from your VO not from VFS as per my experienced

I have a concern, I got my PPR mail on 23 June and sent a mail to Ottawa office for VO change from Ottawa to India on same day. I haven't heard anything back from either Ottawa office or New Delhi office.
Can someone tell me what should I do, as my 30 days time frame is running thin. Can I call any of the offices to check on the status.

My husband who is primary applicant is in India and I am in USA. We got AOR on 13th June 2017, Medical Passed on 10th July 2017. We are waiting for PPR. I'll be grateful if anyone can answer these questions
1. How long wil it take to get PPR request and do they consider location of spouse while sending Visa Office location?
2. After how much time does visa office in New delhi return passport after stamping.
3. Can my husband get stamping first and I can submit at a later date ?

PPR time depends on ur stream etc and VO will not consider spouse location u will have to write them an email after PPR to change spouse visa office.

usually 1 to 2 weeks

yes but in most cases u have 30 days time to send in ur passports(sometimes less)

For me it took only 4 days but you should write Urgent response is needed in your subject field and send email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca.
