Hello Guys, I have a wife in Canada and soon she will sponsor me to be with her in Toronto, She already knows my condition and she accepts me wholeheartedly.

What is my chance of getting approved?

How long is the application? I am with ARV now with undetectable viral load. Thanks

You will have to go through the process as described here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/surveillance/hiv.asp

But the chance is?

... did you read the page? It makes your "chances" very clear.

Loath as I am to help you in not reading it - it'll make no difference to approval, and they'll automatically tell your partner after 2 months so advise you to do so first.

Now go read the link above, so you understand the sequence of events.

It should only make the process longer, but it is no ground of refusal if she nows about it.
probably gonna have interviews with both of you and stuff, but the spousal application, as long as the relationship is genuine and you send enough proof of that, has very little to no chances of refusal.

I wonder how many hiv positive applicants passed this immigration process.

As already stated, being HIV+ is NOT a reason for refusal in spousal sponsorship apps.

Thank you so much for your response guys. I am just worried about the process. I hope it is not a very long process for my wife. I want to be with her as soon as possible.

Hi Law of Attraction

We did not start the application yet. How about you?

As far as I know there is a special form you will need to fill inn telling your spouse of your positive status
She/he can also write a letter acknowledging CIC that she/he knows about your STATUS, it shouldn't be a problem if you can clean about it. As someone mentioned you have 60 days to send the form and you will also need to provide an ID from your sponsor with his original signature. So I encourage you to send your application, everything is going to be fine
