hi guys
i have done my Bsc from university of central Punjab (lahore), and on WES website it says they only evaluate degree from certain university and there is a list.. in that list University of Central Punjab is not there....
not sure how to get it evaluated now?

i also did mba from ucp and get my eca done from university of toronto, link below but they make take 4-5 months. As compared to it, IQAS is better option

Has anyone received a provincial nomination through express entry option here. If yes then what was your score?

didn't understand your question exactly.
If its provincial nominee, you will get 600 points which will be added additionally to your EE CRS score ie CRS 350 + Provincial Nominee 600, Total 950

once attested by relevant department, do we need to send them copies of transcript/degree or its originals which goes to them @WES?

attestation will be done on a photocopy and that will be put in sealed envelop which you need to send to WES. since yours bachelor is from ucp which isn't listed in WES, get ECA done through icas or toronto university.

procedure will remain same for attestation.

Hi All,

I have submitted all my documents and received AOR on 9th April.

I live in Dubai and received PCC from Karachi dated 30th March 2017.

- The period mentioned on my PCC is from 15 Jan 2002 to 10 Jun 2007.
- However I lived in Karachi till 31 August 2007 at a different address. I moved permanently to Dubai

In my application:

1) Location - i have mentioned the new address and also specified "temporary"
2) Activity - Unemployed and travelling

My question is do i need another report till 31 August from Karachi ? if yes, how can i re-submit this document?

i can't tell you about IQAS procedure, i am not aware off, if they you master equivalency or not?
for documents, you need to send them verified copy (from HEC or can be from university with sign and stamp of controller examination) of b comm and masters

should be 31 aug. go to same facilitation center and ask for details, you can send your relative or friend too for the same.

As per my info, people can be nominated by province as well if they have made an express entry profile. I just wanted to find out if there is anyone who was able to receive a nomination based on their EE profile. My CRS score is above 400 but lower than the current average being used for ITA. Therefore a provincial nomination could be useful for me.

If you are applying for Ontario provincial nominee program, ontario province will select your profile if you have more than 400 points. At least that was the procedure when I got my PNP. Now they have moved to an online system with limited quota. Once you go on this route, Ontario PNP will assess your profile and select you if you meet all the criteria and award you with 600 points on your EE profile. After that you will get your ITA and submit another application for IRCC. In other words PNP is a sort of detour in getting PR. But if your CRS points are above the threshold then you will be automatically selected to submit application to IRCC.

i hope you haven't uploaded incorrect PCC?

you have received nomination or not? your profile shows you have got ITA from province then why are you running for PCC?

IQAS is 3-4 weeks maximum and they evaluate all degrees. Yes you need to send photocopies of secondary and b comm and masters but master and bachelor degree should be in sealed envelop.

I just wanted to find out if there is anyone who was able to receive a nomination based on their EE profile my cousin and 5 friends got ITA directly from CIC based on their high CRS. My CRS score is above 400 but lower than the current average being used for ITA. Therefore a provincial nomination could be useful for me. {yes, since you said your crs is above 400, you can apply for Ontario, their processing time is much faster than others provinces.

Hi, I need help in understanding the status of my application.

I got AOR on Dec 01, 2016 and got my medicals passed on Dec 02, 2016. Since then there has been no update in my profile.

I emailed the LVO which is in London and got a reply on 15th March 2017 that:

"your application is undergoing necessary background checks. Please be advised that there are various checks that a file may need to undergo during the application process. We will contact you once the checks are complete."

After that there has been no status change and when we emailed them again and got this reply:

"We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

The file still awaits further review. We will be in touch in due course. Your patience is highly appreciated."


Does this mean that BG has been completed and the application is in final review stage?
