Work History - Can I delete Experience unrelated to my NOC after receiving ITA ?

In my EE profile, before receiving my ITA, I had filled my latest 9 years experience I have in "NOC 2171-Systems Consulting" under the work history section from May 2007 till date, In addition, I also provided the 3 years experience that I had before that in "NOC 0122 - Banking, credit and other investment managers" from May 2004 to May 2007. In the supporting documents checklist section I could see 2 Employment records section now based on these details that I provided earlier while I created the EE.

I received my ITA on 1st March 2017. While I have the offer letters and the resignation letter for this 3 years of Bank experience from May 2004 to May 2007, I am not in a position to get the reference letter as they would not issue it now in letter head. Nor can I get it notarized with the help of any ex- colleague, as I am currently in Scotland and my work experience during that time of 3 years was in India.

Can I now delete the NOC 122 experience that I have mentioned in the work history section from May 2004 to May 2007, at this point after receiving the ITA, and mention it only in the personal history section ? I could show only my NOC 2171 experience from May 2007 till date (9.75 Years) by doing so.

I am worried doing this because one of my friend's profile became ineligible last year when he made changes in this section after he received the PT / NOI letter for OINP. Will it create any problems if I alter this section now as my ITA was received based on what I filled in before ? Please help, Urgent :(

See this thread for this particular information.

In short, yes, you can do that. You will get maximum 25 points for "3 years or more of foreign work experience". In your case you experience in your category for 9 years with NOC 2171 so it won't make a difference.

Good Luck !

Thank You Faraz for the response, but has anyone done this successfully before ? I mean, after the ITA was received, has anyone deleted the experience from work history for the NOC that would not impact the points ? I am specifically asking this question because a friend of mine got the turn ineligible after such a change was made. So being a bit careful. Can anyone please confirm if this is true or is it just my over confused brain ?

I can only say that I am doing it myself. The thing that you are describing is not unusual and this has not been identified as a reason for rejection. I am sure it must be your confused brain :)

read this to know detailed reasons for rejection.

I wasn't saying that his profile got rejected, the case is - His CIC EE profile became ineligible automatically with the below status and I am seeing the letter myself now in his CIC login :-(.

Express Entry - Provincial/Territorial Interest Letter - January 25, 2016 04:14:43 p.m. EST

Changes made to the Work History on February 11, 2016

Not eligible for Express Entry - February 11, 2016 02:23:56 p.m. EST

His profile likely became ineligible cause deleting resulted in the person not having sufficient years experience in primary NOC selected.

Hi,

I am facing similar issue.

When i had created my EE profile, I had mentioned about 7 years experience I have worked in 3 companies for 7 years... I used noc 2171 noc for 3 years experience and then also added 2283 as 4 years experience, with 2283 as my primary noc ...

Later I deleted my 3 years of noc 2171, from EE profile and then after a day i got PT letter from ontario ... Reason of deletion was that i was confused between two noc groups ... but now i realized that all my experience falls in 2283 noc ...

Now, what should i do ... should I submit documents for ontario nomination with only 4 years noc 2283 experience ... Or should i add the rest of 3 years experience too ...

please help ???
