In generally it's unpredictable, and may depend on your country of origin. I know that applications from Filipinos usually are quite fast, but for people from China it's usually longer.

Have you sent them birth certificate?

I think you don't have to worry. Your application is in process, just 2 months passed. It's the average time, but sometimes it's less, sometimes a little longer. You have 3 options:

1. Wait for another 2-4 weeks, maybe at the moment they are completing your application.
2. Call 1-888-242-2100
3. Or send an enquiry http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

For cases 2 and 3 you can tell them that your application time is more than it's indicated here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp and that you would like to ask if it's ok.

But if you're now in Canada and you don't have any dependents and you don't need to hurry I'd suggest to wait a little bit longer.
Thanks. I will wait for few weeks. Hopefully, it will be positive decision.

Hello po, Ano po ung required score sa celpip? Thank you.
If you gained your work experience in Canada as a registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse (NOC 3012), you must meet the minimum level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in either English or French for all four language abilities.
If you gained your work experience in Canada in any other eligible job (NOC 3233, NOC 3413 or NOC 4412), you must meet the minimum level of CLB 5 in either English or French for all four language abilities.

I've been following this thread since I started preparing my application for permanent residence under the caring for people with high medical needs class. and now it's my time to share my own timeline.

NOVEMBER 7 - application received (courier tracking)
NOVEMBER 8 - credit card charged
NOVEMBER 9 - received email from cic confirming receipt of my application and started processing it
NOVEMBER 16 - received email that processing of application has been completed, and immigration centre here in Ottawa will contact me.

now I'm just waiting for immigration centre Ottawa to contact me for the confirmation of my permanent resident status.

additional info: Filipino, no dependents

I have a question regarding the eligibility letter I got today, it says:

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident

status in this class. A final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements have been

met. If applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, must pass

background checks even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time.

Passports for yourself and your family members must be valid for the duration of your stay in

Canada.

Submit all requested information to the SPECIFIC ADDRESS BELOW:

CARING FOR PEOPLE WITH HIGH MEDICAL NEEDS CLASS

/ CARING FOR CHILDREN CLASS

Case Processing Centre – Vegreville

Permanent Residence Applications

6212-55th Ave Unit 803/801

Vegreville, AB

T9C 1W7

Is anyone had the same letter before, is that means I have to send any file now or just wait until they ask for specific document? Btw, I checked guide line that family member means spouse or dependent children, my husband is Canadian and i don't have kid. I don't think he needs to do the police check. Is any one can help me? Thank you.

Hi!
I've got the same letter about a month ago. It's a standard letter, don't pay attention to it. If CIC needs some additional documents, they will inform you. Your husband does not need any checks in case he's Canadian. For you this letter just said that you meet eligibility requirement. All other information can be ignored.
