Aug/Sep/Oct Applicants Waiting for PPR

Well you will get ppr but you will not receive a permanent resident visa. Probably they will send you some document which you would need for you landing as proofs that should be it.

Regarding my DM -- I just realized that I'm from a visa-exempt country (United States). So does that mean I won't be getting a PPR? If not, does anyone know what I should expect next, and when? :-X

Congrats dude! You won't receive a passport request. Next step for you will be COPR showing up in the regular mail. Keep an eye on your mailbox! I believe I had 3 weeks between DM and COPR, but it seems like most people had less time than that. Congrats again!!

Even I am surprised.... I did not send any email asking for the status. I only called the CIC yesterday and as usual they said.... in progress....

you called them and as a follow up, they sent to above email,, right? I was thinking to raise Case Specific Inquiry but do not know even this would work!

i callled CIC regarding my application and the agent told me that they have limited information. I emailed CIC the same day and got the same generic answer from them. The same email that is written above.

that sucks cuz I was hopeful that i will get PPR soon. I am August 20th applicant.

Thanks mate! I really hope I get COPR before November 28, since I'm flying to the US on that day and will return a week later. How much time do they give us to do the landing after receiving COPR?

Still can't believe this ordeal is finally almost over. It has been a long, long 27 month wait.

You're so close now two weeks for COPR to arrive? It's possible, but I'd say not better than a 50-50 shot it arrives before then. I've heard varying stories about how long you get to do your landing after receiving COPR, apparently the expiry on the COPR can be based off your medicals, passport expiry, or even just 12 months into the future. From memory, mine was 12 months, but I didn't mess around, I got down to the border the weekend after receiving it!
