Hi Guys,

Need Help!!! I am a feb applicant ONIP, i had failed to submit my old passport copy with initial pkg but later sent it to them via courier n mailed them.
The copies reached onip office exactly on the 45th day..i did mil them asking for an update about the mail i sent earlier..pls find there comments below..is there standard response or have they added my old passport copy to initial pkg??? pls suggest

Please do not submit any additional document before you receive a correspondence from us.

My name is vishal, I am from India currently working in Oman (Muscat) as an accountant. I am looking to apply Canada immigration with PR visa. But before apply this whole process I have some question. It is better to understand and clear some query before involving that much time and money. Requested you to provide me the answer of following question for my understanding
1) If have 6 score in each section in IELTS exam can I eligible to apply through Skill worker programme
2) I am eligible to and after creating my Express entry profile and if I will be getting about 350 Point. Normally average points required above 450 and if I don’t have any job in my hand how I will select
3) If I want to try for PNP programme provincial nominee programme. Can I eligible as I my profile is accountant and I have dome my Masters in commerce but it’s equivalent to Bachelor degree in Canada. And also I don’t have any job offer in my hand with these limitations can I apply for PNP programme and I would know about the eligibility to apply through PNP in each province
Please clear me these doubts and confirm the possibility to get PR visa. And it’s worth for me to invest lots of time and money to apply this

Hi Seniors,

I have an urgent query with respect to Express Entry Account Application.

I am in the process to complete my Express Entry account profile creation, and in the Education Qualification Section it asks for FULL OR PART TIME STUDY.

I have completed my 2 year M.Com Masters through Distance Learning Mode from Periyar University ( Univ. already on WES list) .
As per WES evaluation (online tool) it is considered "two or more post secondary degree, with one being 3 yrs long".

Query:1 What option should I select "FULL TIME" OR "PART TIME" for Masters via Distance learning mode ?

Query:2 Does "PART TIME" Masters have less points in EE score compared to a "FULL TIME" Masters ?

Note: I have already got my 3yr regular college Bachelors evaluated from WES. And since I am awaiting my transcript for Masters, I have opted to create the EE profile using Bachelors WES ECA number because the WES number will remain same even after updation of Masters evaluation.
So basically I am mentioning Masters in EE account using Bachelors WES ECA number.
So that I do not miss out on OINP bcos only by mentioning Masters I am able cross 400 score (i.e. 407).
I used the following link to check my score but it did not ask for Part/Full time option.

An applicant can have only one active profile at a time.

But isn't it possible to create new MyCIC account with new GCkey and have 2 MyCIC accounts with a different active EE profile?
I think it might work, as it does with Australia system, where one could also create multiple accounts.

Yes in Autralia you can have multiple EOI (Skill Select) accounts. But for Canada, you are supposed to have only one active Express Entry profile. May I ask what is the purpose of having multiple Express Entry accounts at the same time?

No still you cannot have multiple active Express Entry profiles. What do you gain by having multiple profiles for PNP when the information in each of the active profile is the same. Again, before applying you will have to decide whether your spouse will be accompanying or not. By mentioning that your spouse is not accompanying you, the only gain that you have will be the points. You will still need to show POF for both, get medicals and police clearance for both of you. Again, spousal sponsorship is a long drawn process when compared to including your spouse in your PR application.

In my opinion, you do not get any advantage by having multiple active EE profile as the draws are purely based on scores and not on chance. Also, I do not think the system will allow you to do so as it may validate it with the passport number.

I have got a lot of different ideas from other threads but still do not have a definite answer, hence posting here.

I am an Indian and in my passport I only have Given Name and no Surname.
I am going to submit an online application for Express Entry.
In the form to be filled, it is mandatory to enter both Given Name and Surname.
The CIC advises to enter all names in the surname, leave Given Name blank and not to enter anything in the Given Name, not even NA or Not applicable as per the instruction in the help centre

What to enter in the Given name then? Should I enter the same name in both the fields?
(From some old threads, it seems they used to allow to enter 'not applicable' in the given name, but as per the current instructions, they have clearly told to not enter that)

I would need your help/advice in addressing this below issue. As per our last discussion I was waiting for CIC update to submit the spouse documents and today I got an update in my cic account to submit all the spouse documents with application forms within 7 days (this is a shock).

And in that letter there is a note as below. Do you think for the below reason they have given me that less time or is it a normal practice? I have sent an email to them again that I would need additional time for (PCC, Birth Certificate, medicals) which my spouse is currently working on in India.So I would like to ask what are the chances of them to accept this request of mine. I have not informed them about my marital status update because I was not sure about the status of my application until last week. I know its my mistake too.
