Canadian Internship experience for CEC or FSW

I have a canadian degree and I've worked for a year after graduation.

Seems like the single year of work experience is not going to give enough points to get over 460 ish. So I was wondering if I can add my 16 month internship experience in this case.

It says internship is not counted in CEC. But what about FSW? It was a full time/full paid internship and I was technically only partially enrolled in school. What makes it ineligible for FSW?

In the EE under Work Experience, it asks if I was a 'Full' time student during my internship, which technically I was not. Would it work if I want to add this work experience there?

Any work experience gained while you were a student in Canada cannot be counted under CEC. It won't get added to FSW as it wouldn't be foreign work experience.

If the internship experience was after graduation, paid and on a valid work permit. It will count. Make sure the experience is either in NOC A,B or O.

Yes the internship was during my university (before graduation). During this time the work permit was issued on the basis of my study permit.

So there is no possible way to use this experience anywhere?

Yes, i'm interested in that too. But that will be after I get the PT notification?

On that note, PT notification are randomly/automatically sent after I submit my EE?

what about the time between, you received your letter from graduation and apply for work permit.
I got letter from university on Dec 19, 2014 which states that, I met all requirements and will be graduated in Feb 2015.

But, I received my Work permit on Feb 19, 2015, from when my experience will start for CEC?

Your experience will start counting when you actually start working. It took me a month to find employment after graduation, so that 1 month will not count.

But for CEC, it says, you shouldn't be on student VISA and I received my work permit on Feb 19 2015.

It will count towards FSW but not CEC. I have had multiple confirmations. You are working on a work permit when you work for a long-term paid internship.
I contacted CIC and at a talk at my university, an official from the ministry confirmed that paid internships count towards FSW for Express Entry. It clearly mentions that paid TA work counts so why wouldn't a full-time paid internship count?

Work permit applications took too long to process in Summer '15 applications, so a lot of people, including yours truly, had been working without a work permit for a few months.

After you graduate, ie you receive a letter stating you're finished with your program and you apply for a work permit, you are on an implied status for work permit. That means that you essentially have a work permit unless CIC rejects your application, which as you know is rare when you are a qualifying graduate. The delays in processing applications is also reflected in Revenue Canada's tax guidelines for expired SINs and existing jobs.

Legally, if all your documentation is in place, you should have no trouble convincing them that you qualify.

yes. But, I have seen cases where, they rejected applications. So, I think I will wait for another month to apply under CEC.

You sure about this? Did someone in this forum do this?

So when I fill my EE form, under Work Experience, I select "Were you enrolled at university during this time? : No" ? (It will only let you pick Yes/No, although technically I was enrolled in the university)

Check this link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=855&t=6
Plus you must remember that this particular job requires enrollment as a student to be able to do it.
So, if you worked as a TA, then I think you are fine.
