Hello Guys,

Am one of the EE applicants. I created my profile on June mid 2015 and my score by then was 376. Again I gave my IELTS in October and increased my score to 438. I wasn't aware of the OINP till December until a friend of mine told me so. In my existing profile i marked all provinces. But after my friends suggestion i changed it to all province plus Ontario. Once i selected i found a drop down saying my profile data would be assessed or seen by OINP. I gave YES for that option and saved my profile. This change to my application was done during December end only and its been two weeks from then. I havent received any PT notification from OINP as i believe am qualified for one. I contacted OINP through EMAIL and they say you will receive PT if you are qualified within 2 weeks of profile creation. In this case i made changes to profile in dec end say 20th. Its been 2 weeks and i havent received any. Also the OINP guys say if you believe you qualify you can recreate your profile as there are technical issue.

Guys pls suggest me on what to do :'(. should i withdraw my existing profile and recreate one? If so can i first create and then withdraw? has anyone done this process. Please tell me. Awaiting your response guys. Also has anyone received PT notification and completed this process?

Hi Vignesh,

Withdraw your profile and recreate a new profile. Do make a note of all the entries entered in your earlier profile before withdrawing since it will help you in entering the information in new profile much faster :) . All the best

Masood Ahmed

Hey guys,

If withdrawing the profile and recreating it, what should be the answer to these questions:

Has Daniel applied to Citizenship and Immigration Canada before?

Has Daniel applied for Express Entry before?

Thanks

Should be "No", IMO.

Great.

Just for confirmation purposes, I have tried to apply on the old system(2014) but my application was received after the 25000 was reached.
Should I still say NO to both?

Thanks again

yes, you can say NO for both

Do you guys know if the profile is withdrawn straight away or if it takes like 24 hours?
Just trying to figure when I will be able to create the new profile.

Hi Vignesh,

Did you recieve PT notification then? If yes what did you do. I am in the same boat as you.

Thanks

I'm also in the same boat I think. I have 440 points. Is the best course of action for me to create a new profile and wait for Ontario?

I'm concerned that my points will go down in March as I get another year older! Does anyone know what the timeline is for Ontario provincial nomination at the moment?

3-4 months from the date application received by OINP

I recreated and received PT letter within a day.. received PT on jan 17th. Compiled all documents and sent package Feb 17th.
