hi Hassan

Is it necessary for me to attend my husbands interview? Will that make them suspicious? I can't get time off work and I have no idea when they will book him for the interview

It is not necessary but for sure it will be a plus point as they will understand that your relationship is very strong. Did they send you a formal letter for interview? What are the questions and concerns of the Visa Officer? Did you receive your GCMS notes?

Hello, so i got a letter from CIC for my husband for my husband to go in for an interview they have given me a date and a time they have also asked me for some documents and i am well aware of the ones that they have asked for but I'm am soo confused on some things...
It say "as well as the originals of any documents that you have already submitted" does that mean ALL of the documents first had sent when handing in my application that i need to re send to my husband to take with him?

HE SHOULD CARRY WITH HIM ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS WHICH WERE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION.

And it also says "If you have not already done so, you may ask your sponsor to pay your right of permanent residence fee (RPRF). Failure to do so will delay the processing of your application." What fee is this? is this the first fee when i handed in my application the money that i had submitted with my receipt or is this a new fee?

THIS FEE (RPRF) NORMALLY TAKEN IMMEDIATELY BEFORE FINAL DECISION. SO IF THEY ASKED FOR IT YOU MUST PAY IMMEDIATELY.

They also asked for this form Supplementary Information – Your Travels [IMM 5562], is this form for my husband to fill our or myself? and also is it for my husbands present passport?

IT SHOULD BE FOR THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT, YOUR HUSBAND IF YOU ARE THE SPONSOR, I GUESS.


And it also says"Additional documentation may include the following: Letter of employment from Canadian employer, Canadian banking statements demonstrating recent transactions, rental/lease agreement in Canada, and utility bills in Canada." Does this mean i need a receipt of any bills that i have paid? Like school and dental bills?

I THINK THOSE PAPERS ARE FROM YOUR SIDE. SEND THEM TO YOUR HUSBAND.

Can anyone please give my husband some tips for when he is going in for the interview?.. And what can this interview be about? Him being excepted or what?

ASK YOUR HUSBAND TO PREPARE WELL FOR THE INTERVIEW. LET HIM GO THROUGH THIS THREAD. ONLY THING IS TO PROVE RELATIONSHIP IS GENUINE.

My husband is going to Ankara Turkey for the interview?

IF YOU CAN YOU SHOULD ACCOMPANY YOUR HUSBAND FOR THE INTERVIEW EVEN IF YOU STAY OUTSIDE THE INTERVIEW ROOM. LET THE INTERVIEWER KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALSO PRESENT.

YOU ARE MOST WELCOME! THEY ARE ASKING FOR UTILITY BILLS SUCH AS GAS, ELECTRICITY, PHONE, INTERNET, CABLE ETC. IF YOU ARE RENTING, YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT, IF YOU OWN A HOME, PROPERTY OWNERSHIP DOCUMENTS, PROPERTY TAX ETC, IF YOU OWN A CAR YOU MAY SUBMIT CAR OWNERSHIP AND INSURANCE PAPERS ETC. THANK YOU.

No interview letter yet but gcms notes said interview recommended. This is second marriage but I have a daughter with my husband. Notes did not mention any concerns on one of the pages there was a bunch of lines deleted.

No interview letter yet but gcms notes said interview recommended. This is second marriage but I have a daughter with my husband. Notes did not mention any concerns on one of the pages there was a bunch of lines deleted.

Yes the original documents against which you submitted translated papers as well as any other original documents against which you have submitted photo copies. Please make sure that all documents are ready to bring in the interview as per a brief check list. Good luck!

Relationship proof means ongoing strong relationship with your wife. I am not sure if DNA test can be done in India but this is just a possibility may not be asked for.

First when i sent in my applicatiom i paid $1040.00. If my husband was the get the visa how much is that charge for the permanent residence visa and who would i deposit the money too?

Relationship proof means ongoing strong relationship with your wife. I am not sure if DNA test can be done in India but this is just a possibility may not be asked for.

So should I send them our proofs? Or should we wait and take it to the interview?

Some people send them additional proofs before interview. People even get interview waiver by sending additional relationship proofs.

RPRF is $490/- can be paid by credit card on CIC website.
