Hi guys,

I need some help... filling out my application.

It's asking to.. Provide all addresses ...

I usually go back to my home country for a month or two every summer during university.. do I provide my address in my home country in the address history? I've never spent more than 2 months away from Canada though. Or do I just input my Canadian addresses since I've been here throughout for school + work.

How should I go about filling out the address history???

Thanks!

In my opinion, you should tell to cic all address that you have been there in the last 10 years,
Just tell them the truth, you will be fine.

Good luck

That part will be covered in your travel history. If I was you I would stick to my canada address as far as practically possible. These are just your vacations so you can declare them in travel section. I would like to hear from someone who thinks otherwise.

Dear lin123

Your address history is the place for giving information on where you officially lived for the last 10 years. This means the address at which you spent all your time and had your mail sent to. They do not want to know your address when you were on holiday. They want to know which towns you lived in so they can check your criminal record and check that it all lines up with the activities you say you were doing like studying or working. holidays do not matter for this.
You need to write all the addresses of you *homes* where you officially lived while you were studying, working or unemployed in your home country and in Canada. If you have lived in Canada for more than 10 years only write your Canadian addresses.

Do not put the addresses where you were staying for a holiday or visiting relatives unless you were there for more than 6 months-they do not want a list of hotels and campsites or addresses where you stayed for only 2 nights.

There is a separate section called "travel history" where you put the locations of the places you stayed at when you were visiting your family outside of Canada.

I hope this is helpful.

I did because I was confused, but I'm not sure it was necessary.

This is credited advice. I second liamE's fine take on the issue.

I

No, not unless that's your highest educational qualification OR if you don't have ECA for your higher education. Does this make sense? Please feel free to post with further questions. There are great members here with a lot of experience and they can provide more specifics (I'm typing from a phone while away on a trip so am a bit behind on supporting my answers with objective evidence and such). Best wishes to you.

did they ask you to provide transcript for high school back home? or any documentations?
I said I didn't have an ECA for high school and just uploaded my degree certificates and ECA certificate. I didn't do any education in Canada so they didn't ask for transcripts. I think think moosnbooze is probably right, just fill in your highest qualifications.

Hey,
There is no separate section to upload language test scores.. merge the results with your education documents.
The PCC section says multiple for everyone.

Include your language result with your education credentials.
Since you have no PCC as per your case, write a letter of explanation and include it there , I am not sure you will be able to carry on if that space is empty .

I’m currently 25 yrs old. When filling Address history, personal history disclaimer says that I need to fill last 10 years or time I turned 18 hrs which ever is nearest. So if I fill history from past 7 years is that okay? Please advise? Thanks in advance.
