Hi guys,

Can someone please help.

I have received my ECA which says equivalency to Bachelors Degree only. However, they have also listed and verified my Masters degree credentials. Can I choose the option of two or more degrees or diplomas while I build my CIC Profile?

As per report, there are two sections and the exacts words are:

Canadian Equivalency - Bachelors Degree (four years)

1st degree - Canadian Equivalency - Bachelor's degree (four years)
2nd degree -Canadian Equivalency - One year of graduate study

Thank you for your help in advance

Hi All,

The same question is bothering many of us. It would be indeed great if some expert (who has filled it correctly) would suggest us.
My case BE (3 years - admitted directly to second year) + Diploma (3 years).
What option should we choose to get 128 points. I am yet to evaluate my engineering from WES. After reading this I am in a fix whether to evaluate BE or (BE + Diploma). Please suggest

ECA for 3 year diploma

Hi all,

My qualifications are as follows;

Secondary School
Pre Degree- 2 Years
Diploma in Medical Electronics- 3 years

But when I did ECA for my three year diploma, they have given only 2 years post secondary credential.. why it is so? Is there any possibility to do it again and get the equal credential?

Thanks

Is that a post-bachelors or postgraduate diploma?

You'll have to choose Bachelors.

I am also confused herein :

I have 3 years bachelors degree from India - WES assessment is 3 years equivalent Canadian Degree

And I have done 2 post graduation certificates from Canada- 1 year each

Now :
When we fill in the details - shall we choose two or more degrees/ cetificates with atleast one 3 years or more at each step or just once ??

Because every time we have to choose one option - in my case if i have to write details of 3 degrees - will I choose the same option " two or more degrees/ cetificates with atleast one 3 years or more" it 3 times??

Hi guys, can you help me?

I have two ECA Reports:
1. First I got a report for my Bachelor's degree which came as Bachelor's degree (four years)
2. Then, I got a report updated to add a new degree and now I have a new ECA report, with a new Reference number, which says Diploma (three years) and bachelor's degree (four years)

So, should I set both degrees with the new reference number?
And should I:
a) leave both as Two or more certificates (...);
b) both as Bachelor's degree or other programs (...) or;
c) one as Two or more and the other as Bachelor's degree (...)?

I appreciate your help.

Hi guys,

I had this confusion for a long time and I after some research and advice from senior people on this forum and friends who have already got through EE. I have added 2 levels of education. Keeping in mind to avoid any kind of misinterpretation(although CIC is the one who should be blamed for this)

First, I added my bachelors degree which came out to be equivalent to Canadian bachelors 4 years. For this credential i have added Bachelors Degree as the Level of education and this is what is written on my ECA report.

Second, I added my post secondary diploma which i did from Canada and it doesnt require ECA. So, i have added Level of education as one year post secondary diploma and highest level of education as 2 or more degrees/diplomas option and i see i have got full 128 points.

With this setup it seems i haven't misinterpreted anything and i am getting all the points i deserve. Just as a caution, when it comes to education points sometimes CIC takes a little longer to update. Lemme know what you guys think about it.

Overall Score 444
CRS - Human Capital - Age 110
CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 128
CRS - Human Capital - First Official Language Proficiency 116
CRS - Human Capital - Canadian Work Experience 40
CRS - Skill Transferability - Education 50
