Anyone from Pakistan who got ECA done from WES for Chartered Institute of Management Accountants CIMA, UK.. Please share your experience whether you did it as a part-qualified or a member..

I did ECA with CIMA full member, as an ACMA. It is equal to three years Degree.

you have to pass full exams. Result transcript will be sent by CIMA directly. you can either send copy of member certificate directly to WES or handover to CIMA to post with result transcript.

Part qualified will not considered degree equivalent.

I have CIMA Certificate and Advanced Diploma. Would I be able to get some assessment against this certificate & diploma?

Did you request CIMA Pakistan Office to send transcripts to WES ?

What about the experience you had before membership? Can you count it in immigration application?

i would like to know if there were any other remark from wes bcos i know ICAN from Nigeria was quoted as not being equivalent to any canadian educational qualification.

Is there anyone out there who has CIMA evaluated by WES and given a three year degree equivalence that would like to send me a copy?

My MPNP officer is disputing CIMA is not a three year post grad degree. I have applied to WES but they are requesting my membership certificate which I have submitted today. But I am not sure how long it will take. The MPNP officer has given a deadline of December 2016 and wonder if there is anyone who could share with me a copy of the evaluation.

If you are a cima passed finalist (including top cima ) - equal to 3 yrs bachelors
if you are a ACMA/CGMA Cima member (need to take membership)

Hi,
drop an email to cima.contact@cimaglobal.com... provide them the filled and signed WES form, which they will complete and attach it with the transcripts... they usually send by post, which takes 4-5 weeks... you can arrange your own courier and get it delivered to WES Canada

Also, A Dip Cima is also given a degree equivalency by WES.

Could you please clarify that as I am interpreting that if you are CIMA finalist (including top cima) but not yet member its 3 yrs bachelors equivalent according to WES
But full 4 yrs if you are full member that is all requirements complete.

what is your current status with CIMA?
