I am currently staying with my husband in Canada.
I put my address under home address and I am putting my husband's address under mailing address so they'll mail it back here.
What do I put after "c/o"? His name or my name?
And it says "State" can I just put Quebec there?

Are you filling out the payment form?
Edit: nvm. If you're filling out the application form (https://forms.fbi.gov/criminal-history-summary-checks-review/q384893984839334.pdf), I would put your American address - if you lived with your parents before visiting Canada, put that as the Applicants address.

Underneath it says Mail Results to Address, put your husbands address, your name under c/o.

Well I put my brother's since I lived with him while attending college before I came here.

Also I think the person who fingerprinted me messed something up! D:
On the Fingerprint form the officer who did my finerprints wrote the police station's address under "Employer and Address"!
-_- DO I have to re-do my fingerprints???

That address works.
And to be honest, I'm not sure. My husband did the fingerprinting so I'm not sure what they wrote on the fingerprint form.. sorry!

I'm reading this: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/fingerprints_biometrics/guidelines-for-preparation-of-fingerprint-cards-and-association-criminal-history-information

And there's all these sections that my fingerprint card doesn't have... even though I downloaded it from the FBI website..

I'm sure the one you downloaded is fine. When my husband did his, they did something wrong the first time and his card was never charged, so he just went ahead and did it again. He used the fingerprinting card from the FBI website and it went through fine the second time.

Ok. I guess I'll send it in and see how it goes. Can you call the FBI to check on if the information is all correct?

There is a number to call, but they recommend waiting a couple weeks. I know my husband called after a month and they assured him that his application was fine and he would receive the results soon.

From their website:
Note: Although the FBI employs the most efficient methods for processing these requests, the processing time is currently 22 calendar days due to the volume of requests received, as well as past government status. Please allow additional time for mail delivery. We respectfully request that you refrain from calling to check on the status of your request prior to six weeks. For assistance, contact the Customer Service Group at (304) 625-5590.

He called that number after a month (at that time the estimated time was 8 weeks) and was able to get info.

Yeah I just wrote that number down. XD haha
Thanks for all the help and reassurance!

No worries :D Good luck with your application!

thank you!! You as well!

We submitted the FBI check request on January 27th for my husband. My husband lives in Turkey and in the form he wrote my address in Montreal as the mailing address where the results should be send to. I received the results on March 3rd :) So, it's not a problem.

You can also call the FBI contact center if you have any questions. They were very friendly.

Hope this helps.

I am having the same kind of problem. We applied for FBI finger print check from India through 3rd party finger print expert. They mentioned their official address rather than our home address in India. Will it cause any issue in our PR application? I would really appreciate your response.
