Hello, I need an urgent advice. My inland spousal pr application is at p2 stage. i submitted p2 on 7th October and have been waiting for eCOPR since then. Meanwhile I submitted my passport for renewal and my new passport is arriving tomorrow. I will submit it to IRCC immediately via webform as soon as it arrives but what if I receive my eCOPR before that? Also, will IRCC question the new passport validity date? I mean I am getting the passport tomorrow but it was printed like 1-2 weeks ago so will IRCC question me that why didn't I submit the new passport on the printed date?

No need to worry about this as long as you are in Canada now (i.e. you're not going to cross a border in the interim or have issues with that).

No issue at all with the 1-2 weeks before, this is normal stuff.

For a 'regular' COPR, the passport info (listed as travel doc) seems to be there primarily to confirm/allow for identity confirmation (the visa is actually in the passport, for countries that need them).

The COPR/eCOPR serves primarily as the ... confirmation of permanent residence. It's not dependent on your passport number, or validity, so there's no need to worry.

IMO. You can call IRCC if you think you need additional assurance.
