PR Card renewal - September 2026

Application submitted on 13th September. I was able to link my application randomly today and status shows PENDING REGISTRATION. Does anyone know what does it mean and how long will it take from now to process the card?

Give sometime, and check again. It will change to received/ applied (dont exactly remember)

Can some one help, which status ID should I keep an eye on, there are lot of status ID and number in different array ? I applied on sept 25. thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

Okay, you can only link after it changes to 20

What did you use to link it? Uci ?

I used it with uci and you have to write city, state in your city column to link the application as per your passport if state was mentioned

Just logged in into the PR portal it says application returned and they’re asking me to submit a new photo anybody experienced this when I upload the photo. Will it take the same processing time or it’s faster?

Very common reason for return. I think application goes back in queue

Then how should I submit the photo. Taken at shoppers and scanned with my phone. I tried scanning it with a printer but it shows very dark

I think you need to re upload on the online application. Is there any specific reason mentioned ? Pixel issue? Incorrect dimensions? You can accordingly correct, re upload photo, re check entire application (specially address and work history details, plus travel history if it changed) and then submit
