PR Visa stamping delay

Thank you for your response. I cross-checked my receipt and noticed that I paid the fee on the 4th of April 2026, before the fees were increased. IRCC website lists that fees were increased on the 30th of April. I am completely lost as to all this delay.

Would suggest paying the increased fee just to get the file moving and then you can argue with IRCC about whether you should be entitled to a refund.

Good point. If you can confirm that IRCC is actually waiting for payment - pay it. They are usually good about returning overpaid amojnts later (no guarantee of course).
