Waiting for Portal 2

All the best for everyone
Congratulations on receiving Portal 1! After such a long wait, you’re finally getting closer to the finish line. Hopefully, Portal 2 and your eCoPR will arrive soon. Wishing you a smooth and speedy final step, and all the best to everyone still waiting!

Please, how do I contact the Legal aid, am in Montreal, can you give me your legal aid referrer? Thanks
U can contact Legal Aid Québec (Aide juridique) to ask whether you qualify for free or low-cost legal assistance. You can find the official information here: https://www.aidejuridiquequebec.qc.ca/ You can also contact a local legal aid office in Montreal and explain your situation. Eligibility depends on your financial circumstances and the type of legal matter.
Good luck!

Travelling without ur PR card can create complications when returning to Canada on a commercial flight, depending on your travel document and circumstances. It doesn’t mean you cannot travel, or that you will necessarily have problems.
There is absolutely no complications! I traveled more than 5 times to different countries with my RTD. They just ask you couple of questions when you come back to Canada

Last year, a large number of applications suddenly got finalized in November and December, and the same thing happened in June and July this year.
My only hope is the last two months of the year. Otherwise, there’s no telling when this is going to happen again.
Based on the pattern, it seems like there’s a significant movement every six months or so. My only hope is that the last two months of the year will bring another wave of finalizations, after the elections, the announcement of immigration targets, and all the other stuff they have going on.

We’ve seen big waves of finalizations before, so hopefully November and December will bring another one. With many applicants still waiting, I hope IRCC continues processing files at a good pace and brings some positive news before the end of the year. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Finally I received my PR Card yesterday. I hope all of you receive good news soon .
Congratulations. Thank you for sharing your complete timeline. It’s encouraging to see another 2023 applicant reach the finish line. Hopefully, IRCC continues moving applications forward and everyone still waiting receives good news soon!
