I have applied for asylum on Aug 2023, security check is pending until now!! What I have to do !!!

U should follow up rather than just continue waiting. Contact IRCC through the webform and ask for an update on the security screening. If you have a lawyer or representative, ask them to follow up as well. You can also contact your MP and ask them to make an inquiry with IRCC.

I have contacted IRCC,IRB,my lawyer and MP all of them told me with security check we can do nothing just you have to wait !!! No one can contact CBSA !!

ATIP request to CBSA/CSIS could reveal anything about your security screening and whether it's worth trying.

Yes waiting for security check. I did the ATIP request some months ago and it said same thing, security check ongoing or something along those lines ‍. This wait is driving me crazy

Hey guys, just came over here to give you all some hope. I just received a positive decision a few days ago.
I applied in Sep 2023
Work permit and IRB referral in Jan 2024
Consideration for less complex and submitted evidence in April 2024
I was told i was moved back to regular hearing May 2024
Got notice of hearing August 2026
Had my hearing and got positive decision in October 2026.

I wish you all the best of luck!!!! Hang in there your day is coming soon!!! Please be well prepared with your evidence you want to submit because you might get very short notice of your hearing.
