@farazafzal
Hi. I submitted my application on June 27, 2026, my JSON : ID 20 , Status Complete and last update on Aug 4 2026, however I got picture rejection letter on Aug 12, 2026 . As per instructions on rejection letter I courier two picture with letter and digital processing center received it on Aug 19, 2026 as per courier delivery receipt.

After that complete silence no update nothing . I don’t know how and when I will receive my new PR Card.anyone have any thoughts on it . It’s so frustrating.

Hi,

This is always a good news when they return application for one specific reason which is easy to fulfill. I will not mark 19th August but any next day (20th or 21st as my day of application docket completion) as a ready for review Status 16.

It will now take 38 days (and with current performance they were able to reduce it to 37 days). So if I calculate everything, I can safely tell you that you will have your cards in post before 15th of October.

So 28-30th September your application Must have entered status id 20/complete. There on anytime between 10 days to 14 days is waiting time before you will have your card. Sit tight for another (14 days MAX) and you will have cards HOPEFULLY before that.

Good luck, and report back whenever you receive them.

Probably call IRCC and check if there was any concern with application.

25/08/2026 - Submitted urgent application.
02/10/2026 - Status ID changed to 20.

It is a more complex case. I had a PRTD approved under H&C grounds due to not meeting RO by nearly 10 years lol. However, today the status ID changed to 20 so keeping my fingers crossed it is good news and I get the card soon!

Of course! I already detailed the majority of it on this thread. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...d-granted-under-h-c-grounds-rc-1-code.882079/ Let me know if there is anything else that could help. Unfortunately, it is a very unique situation so it'll depend on personal circumstances.

Just to add a little more detail, I was 15 when I left Canada and 25 when I returned. I was studying from 18-25 so that's why I couldn't come back sooner. I did my PRTD H&C application myself and for the PR card renewal I simply provided all of the same documents but included the PRTD and the stamp showing I was allowed in to Canada.

Indeed very interesting.

I just went through, and I think you have provided enough information. Some matters are of very personal nature and applies to you only so I am good without it.

The most valuable info was how nicely you fall under Section 28 , para c of the IRPA. That was very well thought of.

I am happy for you, and good luck for your Canadian Journey!
