Hi All, Is anyone still sitting since 2021 as my sister still waiting. No news since last year after they requested another Medicals..

Hi everyone just a quick question if someone has faced the similar situation:We as a family came to Canada in 2025 and got my home child care occupation specific work permit and husband got open work permit. Unfortunately due to medical urgency of our parents we had to leave for our home country in 2 months. We are planning to move back to Canada in a months time but as my employer moved to a different province and in our work permit it states in Additional Comments that Location- BC. Can we travel to Calgary directly and start working there or we are restricted to BC only. Kindly suggest

Was your work permit not employer specific? Did your employer move during that 2 month period? That would be quite the coincidence. If they moved at any earlier date when and when did you land in Canada? When do your WPs expire?

Work Permit is occupation specific.The employers moved around that time only.Our WPs are valid till end 2027
