Hey everyone,
My partner and I were recently asked via an email from "IRCC.CODRoutineProcessing-TraitementRoutineDOC.IRCC@cic.gc.ca" to send them a copy of "Any passports and/or travel documents, valid or expired, that were valid" during the eligibility period. They asked for translation of all non-English/French stamps too. The letter says to “mail color photocopy of every page to the above address.” However, the only address shown above that instruction is the email address itself, the same address the officer used to send us the request. So, we replied to that email with color scans of all passport pages along with the translations of the stamps.
We sent everything about two weeks ago but haven’t received any confirmation. The letter gave us 30 days to submit the documents, and it has now been about 20 days since we received the request. The application tracker also still says “Waiting on you” to provide the requested documents.
I have two questions:
1- Should we expect any confirmation that IRCC received the documents? Since it has already been two weeks, would it be a good idea to send them again in a new email rather than as a reply to the original request?
2- Is submitting these documents by email the normal procedure in this situation, or were we supposed to find a physical mailing address somewhere and mail the copies instead?
Thanks in advance!
