PR Card Renewal June 2026

Hi, yes, that was me. My JSON status changed to Completed on July 15. I also submitted a webform regarding the back of my PR photo and attached an updated photo with the required information. I haven’t heard back from IRCC about it, but I did notice a new update in my profile showing the Final Decision date
Received my card in the mail today. Had resubmitted application on 10th June, JSON completed 22nd July. Card delivered 31st july. Card issue date is 25th July.

I applied for my pr card renewal on june 23th i am not able to link my application in GCKEY my status shows submitted only and i cannot see my application number anywhere dont know what to do

I applied for my pr card renewal on june 23th i am not able to link my application in GCKEY my status shows submitted only and i cannot see my application number anywhere dont know what to do
Hi, My spouse submitted for PR renewal on June 24 and unable to link on GCKey and the portal still says Submitted, yesterday in json file, we see the following message. We never used any third party or representative to submit our application. No email or message from IRCC, any idea what to do?

Try creating an ircc secure account, if you haven't. Then try linking an existing application to that account. You can use your uci number and family name option or any suitable option to find your application.
If that doesn't work, call ircc and ask for application number for current pr card, they'll provide you with it.
Try linking the application in the ircc secure account using the application number. It may or may not link. I had my application number but couldn't link it to my account.
I got the same message the day I created my pr renewal application. It seems to be just automated… just keep monitoring your email…
Might be a glitch in the system. Wait for any official email from them or give them a call on Monday.
Did you guys mention that you've used help of someone to fill in the application? Or did you choose that is someone else helping you in filling the application?
If so, then resend the new form they're asking.
When you say final decision date, what does that mean ?
My JSON changed to complete on July 9 but in GCKey it says:
"Final decision
- Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made"

Here is the procedure to check the JSON data of your PR Renewal Status.
For JSON preferably use Google Chrome.
1 - Login to your Permanent Resident Portal.
2 - Once on the page of application hit F12 key and Developer tools will open.
3- Must you refresh the Page here so that system can acquire the JSON Data.
Then see the attached pic as you will click the case 4000 (xhr is written in the next column and the other 4000 has got nothing). Follow all the highlighted settings and selection as per attached pic and you can see your status ID towards right.
You will see status id 16 Ready for review or 20 Status Completed etc.
