Should I call and update IRCC if I lost my job?

CEC inland with 1+ year Canadian Experience and 3+ year foreign experience

I’m the only applicant and close to FD, I don’t think eligibility started yet. Should I keep them informed?

Will this affect the process? Like current job or something?

No need if the job/salary isn’t required to get PR.

I don't understand what it means "job/salary isn't required to get PR". I am not getting any points for having an offer letter. But I did apply for Canadian Experience Class.

So proof of employment or salary is not required. In other pathways it is.
