I received invitation recently and just noticed when gathering my documents. For foreign experience I have worked for 1 year 1 months and 12 days.

For one month I was on vacation but continued employed. So I was unpaid for one month. For one of the month I only got paid for 14 days and 16 days absent - unpaid.

My payslips are monthly and based on calendar days(30/31days) there is no hourly calculation. So for 14 days paid, there is no way to calculate if this was span over 3 weeks or 2 weeks or when was the leave was taken to justify worked hours.

Please advise on solution should I go ahead with this experience, removing this I would be ineligible.

If you were still employed during that unpaid vacation month, it still counts as part of your work experience. IRCC looks at the period of employment, not whether you were paid for every single day. Your reference letter should show continuous employment from start to end date.

For the month where you only worked 14 days that's trickier. IRCC requires at least 30 hours per week for fulltime work. If you can't prove 30 hours in that specific month, it might not count as a full month of experience. But if you still have 12 months without it, you meet the minimum. I'd include all the experience and add a brief LOE explaining the unpaid leave was employer-approved vacation within continuous employment.

Hi, thanks for your response. For 14 days, it’s a bit of a grey area. So back home if I took a leave on Friday they just cut leave for Sat and Sun too. Now I have worked Mon-Thu 1 week and other 2 weeks Mon-fri. So basically 3 weeks with 30+ hours. But there is no way to prove it this as payslip don’t show that.

Moreover, i have employment letter that states everything that IRCC required, duties, hours (40), start and end date, salary etc.

If your employment letter shows 40 hours per week with continuous dates, you're fine. IRCC goes by the reference letter, not individual payslip breakdowns. The letter is your primary proof and it covers everything they need. Don't overthink it and submit with confidence.
